    And congrats Sarah, looks like you did a great job tonight!

    Just as an epilogue to all of this, I was watching the cricket tonight with my Aussie housemate and as England romped home to a great win (makes a change!), I flicked over to channel 865 to see how Sky's new talent was getting on.

    My housemate (who doesn't play online and knows nothing about this thread but has seen Michelle on the show before and quite fancies her) says, "where's the other girl?"

    "Oh she's left for another channel and this one's taken over, what do you think?" I reply.

    After careful consideration, he says, "nah, I don't like her face, what is she, forty something?".

    RULING!

    I never said that. Did I?

    I thought she made a quite outstanding debut. The Show was nearly 4 hours long, & we had some BTS technical issues which meant we had to "cover" a lot, blather on whilst awaiting hands to appear, & that's not easy for a newbie to the Show.

    But more pleasing was the way so many folks e-Mailed in, or Posted on here, to help her through her first Show.

    She'll be doing PTP next week, & I fancy the Rail will be heaving.

    You are some special bunch of guys (& girls), you really are.

    It was a brilliant one-liner - I loved it. It was just a little too near the edge for a first night though, as I knew for 100% certain that the Big Suits were all watching last night.

    Orford, of course, would have read it out. 37 times.

    A word on Rich Orford now, to be serious for a mo. I've had him as my regular screen partner for some time now, & joking aside, he is unbelievably good - & I do mean that. Better than you realise, because when I work with him, I am much much better than usual - because he knows exactly how to get the best out of me. And that IS a neat trick, because I'm a rank amateur when it comes to TV.

    I'll be back with him soon, I hope.

    He's still Lord Smirk though. ;)

    All sky presenters and analyists are excellent but as 'chemistry' goes u and rich r a top combo tikay I'm not sure chemistry is the right word but u know wot i mean.
