How was your poker April?
I remember sikas started a thread at the beginning of april giving his feedback on how he played and how things went pokerwise through march, made a lot of interesting reading to hear different peoples months. So post your story!

Prob up about 4k in online tournies. Couple of decents binks on Sky (2nd in the 15kBH being my best).
8k up live (technically May actually) however that has depressed me more than anything. Really let me and Sky down and should have been a far far better cash. Won a couple of pots off of Banzi tho so that was fun.
Don't really wanna play much in May. Feel like quitting now tbh.
Managed to rebuild my bankroll back up to what it was before March.
It might not sound much to some people but I took a bit of a hammering and ended up losing just over half of it in a month.
So I decided to drop back down the levels in cash (yes the dreaded 2p/4p) and quickly built it up to a level that I could get back onto the 5p/10p tables.
Since then i've been doing well, making a steady profit everyday i've played.
Not played too many tournaments but managed a 6th in a TSP Classic. Apart from that i've not done much apart from a few minor cashes.
Don't be quitting now lol. In a way it's great you're so annoyed as it shows how much you want to win. Which can only be a good thing.
My April was a rollercoaster i spent the first week of it in bed watching films because i was too ill to do anything else then missed loads because the computer packed in, Last week has seen me show my rustyness from 4-5 weeks without a serious game of cards (seriously my live games are just not at a good enough level for me to play 100%)
The rusty poker of mine seen me break the smallest profit ever, 42p in a month lol. However none to worry about im £10 down for may already lol although thats not a worry at all as im in the process of adapting my game to a whole new style.
Lost steadily for the first 2 weeks, ground it back up for the second half of the month to finish a mighty 23p up! Played too many DYM's to get back up and feeling a bit stale because of it.

On a personal note, won an Open which makes the month about £1,000 or so in profit. Not bad for a hobby.
Scotty - you were awesome and your performance got the community hooked, I was even cooking the Sunday roast with the live feed nearby, was disappointed for you when the guy called but like Don says he was expecting a split pot with you both holding the King, without a paired board you get that through, you played a great tournament in a class field.
As for letting Sky down, not a chance, they will be thrilled with your FT and the exposure that gives them, as another poster says, your feelings just show how much you wanted to win and thats a real quality! Hope to see you in Leeds.

Made a nice profit and hit 10,000 points for the first time ..... BUT ..
MAY has been an absolute, unmitigated (I looked that up), DISASTER (so far !).
C'est la vie.
My april wasn't that great, after killing my bankroll at the end of march i didn't really play too much online for a while, and when i was i was steadily losing, but then on the last saturday of april i went on 50nl tv table with my last 50 quid and went on a absolute heater over 4 days making aload of money! Was great fun running well and playing well, then the nx 2 days were awful, kings running into aces, queens running into kings, four times, everyones flush draws getting there ect.
Feel i learnt quite abit more though, which is always good, and feel im constantly improving, may has started well and after playing so much at the end of april i managed 10k points so very happy with that
I'm over the moon with my April and I've earned about 1/10th of Scotty's profit and 1/100th of the kudos. Get a grip Ryan man ;-)

I think my main downfall this month was not cashing or taking bountys in any main events after a v.good satelite record
Still gutted about bubbling for the survivor final - This would have been a gr8 end to the month but wasn,t to be.
Goals for May are to document my sessions and organise my time better so that i can concentrate on other things as well instead of missing out because of overplaying sessions by hours on end and start to enjoy it again a bit more -
Also to play a few live games this month after none in April
