ok guys just reporting in regarding the £22 BH, am currently on the final table but have took no heads and am very low stacked, the cards have been a nightmare and have done well to stay in till this stage, the big hand for me was when i raised with 88 and bb re raised all in, only 700 more to call so i make the call and he shows aq, flop comes 89j, i get excited at atking a bounty and 4000 chips only for a 10 to come on the turn and ace on the river, from then on i just havent recovered and unless some good cards come soon i will be heading out in 6th place.

I don't really understand. If this was about poker then i'd find it interesting but it seems it's ebeen equally about sports and casino betting which NOT doing was put out as one of your aims at the start.

Well done on the profit anyway but no story here IMO.

since when did i mention that i had played the casino? this has kept me away from the casino, so for that i am very thankful i did start the topic, and yes i did place a football bet yesterday but cant really blame me for that as i am a footy fanatic, however i do beleive this thread has run its course and maybe its time to put it on the back burner.

bit i am very happy i have done what i set out to do and reached my target and a little bit more, numerous people have told me its been a great read and they have enjoyed the journey but this is where the journey ends for now, i would also like someone else to set them self a challenge so maybe i can get involved like the rest and follow the trials and tribulations of the system!!

anyway guys its been a real joy and has made this weekend so much fun, thanks for all the support folks and gl on the tables!!

Well done mate. Nothing wrong with what you did imo. Betting on footie is something i do every week. Admittedly i'm no good but i still do it. lol. Congrats on your winnings mate. Mike

well done Webby enjoyed looking in every now and again to see how you were getting on.

Ignore the fools moaning about the sports bets, it was your challenge so you make the rules m8

Well done Webby. I enjoyed railing you in some of your efforts and tracking you progress was interesting. What I find really interesting is your mindset.

You freely admit to being a gambler and anything that keeps you away from the casino has got to be good. I've been asked many times if I'm a gambler and my answer is always No! I don't gamble, I don't even bet on the Grand National. But as I am reminded when I say I'm not a gambler, I do play poker. The difference is that poker isa game of wager where I have a continuous  influence on the outcome. Yes, luck is involved to some degree but nevertheless I can control the outcome if my skill is up to the job. You play a good game of poker Webby, I saw enough evidence of that when I railed you through a numberof games, so pack up the casino and concentrateon the poker.

Again well done..........I had faith in you, in fact if I'd been a gambler  I'd have put a bet on you doing the business. :)

Well done webby, as previously stated stick to poker it's alot less of a gamble than things that are out of your control like football or blackjack

Awesome thread! Good job webby, just make sure you don't go blowing it on the virtual dogs or something! :)

Seriously, that's £120 profit right there. Solid for someone who was playing DYMS. Anyone else going to be doing a similar challenge? I am thinking of doing a little something this evening which will involve me, coffee and a lot of tables. Short stack ninja here I come!

Also, will you be taking on Mr. Kendall at any point?

Consider this a gauntlet well and truly thrown! The only problem is I am rubbish at poker. Hmm, this might be the end of my poker account. Oh well! :)

I'll get cracking on this right after I complete the other project I have brewing in the Strategy part of the forum.
