Awful check with quads... help!

Okay guys been posting on here abit recently, been grateful for all the advice, so keep it coming please!

On to the hand... knew the (rumpy) had a overpair after he bet strong on the turn, wasn't rly bothered about the other guy, how do you play this hand? i was hopping he'd bet the river and then i could jam, this seems to be one of my problems, rather than being happy getting a chunk of his stack i try and trap to get the lot

both sat with 200bbs btw, hence why i just called on flop to see safe turn

Im definitely raising flop, why do you want to see a safe turn before you bet, seems like you would be less likely to get value to me,

As played I prob just raise turn big, flatting kinda sucks because you still look strong if you lead river and he checks behind a lot if we check. The line you chose of raise turn, check river is definitely the worst option imo, he never bets a medium strength hand on river if he's decent. As played on river Im betting, I prob just shove, but theres an argument for maybe betting around 30

You have to bet the river against this villain.

I don't mind the way you played the hand against him, I think you are in danger of losing him if you do much else.

You have definitely missed out on 30 quid on the river though.

His check on the river is as predictable as you making quads!

 im raising on the flop wet board and you may get a caller cause u never u missed out on vaule if you would of raised the flop stacked the playerwould be stacked on the river .
