I would call with the plan of folding if you don't hit your set. I think you are deep enough to call, but from your notes it does look like a monster hand. But from the way you say he has made some dubious plays he might be the type to pay you off if he has a big pair against a set.

Then again, it's an MTT and you only have 99. You could fold and wait for a better spot. Is this an example of implied odds? You are most likely behind but there is the chance to stack the other player with the right kind of flop

I would fold, he doesnt seems to raise much (from notes you give),and I expect him to fold very little of the range you flip with. If he opens a decent amount of time its a clear shove imo, I dont hate shoving anyway

I actually think there is a good case for all 3 options here, sometimes i may flat but i think i prefer the shove if they not tight or solid

nowhere deep enough to setmine, i dont think you have much fold equity which would lean me to fold, if you shove it like a 50/50

i would shove i think. Fold also ok imo. If you called though, flop could be 3 low ones and you could check raise all in, which is nice.
