X8 or nothing in a DYM format.
My idea for a new STT would be this.
First of all it would be a 24 seater split into 4 tables of 6. The blind levels would stay the same as the currnet DYMs.
There would be no redistribution of players until all 4 tables were down to 3 players. When the first table had got down to 3 players the clock would be stopped and the remaining tables would play on at the current blind levels until they are all down to 3 players. Play would stop on all tables that are down to 3 players until the next phase.
The players would then be moved randomly onto 2 tables and the clock restarted and then rinse and repeat until down to the final table. On the final table the top 3 would all get equal payouts being 8 times the original buyin. so will in effect be a DYM accumulator.
This could also be done as 12 or 48 seater formats as well.
