MTT- Scoop hand, just in the money, flop and turn spots.

My image
I'd been very aggressive from late position, raising pretty much every spot unopened from the cut off, Hi Jack and button.

Not been at the table that long, but must have taken down 5/6 pots uncontested.

The one time someone played back at me was a snap min raise facing my cut off open. I decided 2 4bet w/K8o, and the guy snapped. He checked a J high flop I bet and he folded.

Villains history

Villain hasn't really played back much, but has been busy post flop, in 1 hand inparticular, she isolated an UTG limper from MP, and flatted a min 3b behind from the BB.

The BB cbet weak, she flatted, and someone flats behind.

BB bet the turn, again weak, and she just over min raised, BB called.

River the BB again led really weak and she folded.

The Hand

My open pre flop is standard, the last time someone played back at me I 4bet to show strength and took it down (as above). I wanted to keep the pressure on as I was getting very little resistance.

Flop is good, I cbet as standard again, and she almost instantly raises me.

My instinct was to just get it in here. I think I have the best hand, I get the feeling she's getting fed up with my raises. It was the speed of her raise, she could well have 88/99 but I'm more incliined to think she's got maybe A8/A4/78/79/44 something like that.

I decide to just flat, to see if she what she does on the turn. I don't wanna jam here, coz she just folds all her bluffs and snaps me off with anything that beats me. Maybe I should?

The turn brings a 4 card straight on board, and she instantly bets out a pot commiting size.

If she had me on the flop, surely she hates this turn card? Unless she's just got frustrated with her set, and banged the bet in or something. Only 78 that I could beat on the flop has gone ahead of me.

Is this just a fold? I was really struggling to put her on a hand. 78 is surely the only hand she can take this line on flop & turn with?

What are your thoughts on the flop and turn play?

I like how you played it and I fold turn now. Yeah the 4 doesnt help many of her hands that you are behind, but when she fires turn its more likely she either was ahead all along or it did help her. I dont think you can hero call here without more info

Whats the plan on blank turn?

I was happy to get it in on most turns, I want to give her a chance to bluff again, and if I'm beat I'm beat anyway so no point jamming.

I thought she was gonna lead pretty much any turn card with all her range, her bluffs her value hands and her marginal hands. But I just thought she really wanted me to fold, especially with her sizing on the turn.

She could have a worse 7, and have been c/raising me for value on the flop and now turning it into a bluff?

I'm pretty sure she thinks I'm weak.

I think you are just levelling yourself into doing stuff. I would just do a jam on the flop, pot is already big and no turn helps you, even an ace can lose your action.

As played now u face a tough decision, I think villain can have an 8 here and the turn bet isn't pot size it's 17k into like 30k? Seeing as you levelled yourself into this mess you should probably level yourself into calling now too.

The turn bet was about 65% of her remaining stack.

Made a bad call, they had poquet threes.
