    With the WSOP almost upon us, when will Paul be heading out to Vegas? How many and which events will he be targeting?
    Also, if not himself, who would be the ONE (and only 1) British player he would tip to bring back a bracelet?? Also tikays (dumb) choice and Sir Richard the all-seeing oracles choice. My own choice would be Roberto Romanello to complete the triple crown.

    Come on- we've all done it. Not only played on skypoker.com but carried on with other activities as well- and I'm not just talking about checking emails. 

    Confession time: I've occasionally taken the laptop with me to the toilet so as not to miss a hand.

    So what have you done, or what do you do on a regular basis, at the same time as playing?

    Made dinner? Pretended to be interested in a conversation your partner is having with you? Slept? Exercised?

    I think someone has to have a word with Richard about these questions he has a tendency to ask.  Some of them are quite embarrassing... as you can see for the reaction of on his co presenters


     


    The good news is that TK doesn't get the same reaction for his co presenters when he is talking.  he gets an entirely different reaction ;o)




    In fact TK even has that effect on himself ;o)

    LOL Pete. Have you been taking geek lessons off Aaron or have you just got too much time on your hands??

    Question for Paul. (ok, three questions) :)

    What on your views on mobile phones etc at a live poker event? Is it about time that all gadgets were restricted which would also include head phones etc.?
    Some poker rooms are already banning hoodies, so do you see in the future, poker being played like the old days i.e pre shades etc?

    PS. Its nice of WBA FC to hold their end of season party with ALL their fans present on 865 tonight! :)

    I certainly multitask here is my list, making dinner, clearing up, doing washing, paperwork for job, ebaying, reading forum(like now)
    booking holidays, homework the list is endless. Also the remote form
    on hands free in the car talking to person at home what to do fold raise call. While asking question position stack sizes etc

    Questions for Paul....

    Just how different do tournys play without antes, compared to with antes? 
    How would you adapt your game when the blind structure is without antes?

    I'd imagine the changes to your strategy would be quite subtle, but important none the less.......

    At what point do you start getting excited about winning a tournament?

    Is there a point where you really feel that you have a great chance of going deep? 

    - Maybe after the first double up?
    - maybe after the first break?
    - when 100 are left? 
    - Around the cash bubble?

    Or do you never really think about it, and just focus on 1 hand at a time?

    Have you ever had a massive blow up in a tournament at any stage of your career (or before you turned pro) that has haunted you, and taken days, weeks, or even months to get over?

    Whilst I was doing my degree, I drove a cab at night in order to pay my mortgage, and on slow nights you could often find me sat on the rank, in my London cab with my netbook and dongle, playing a tournament.  When passengers got in, I used to place the netbook in the well on the passengers side & got so annoyed when I had a huge hand I couldn't play......I used to get them to their destination in double-quick time (without breaking the speed limit of course).  If I went deep, I would turn my top light off and go and park up somewhere & finish the game.

    I can often been found at home, ironing and playing online....I hate ironing, so it makes it bearable.

    multi tasking online

    well rich you sort off covered mine slightly with laptop in toilet, playing a tourney and needing the little boys room I decided router would be good to go for signal so off I trot no pun intended. Whilst in a hand with pocket 99s in the BB folded around to the button who limps SB completes and I ck and see the flop. It comes A94 rainbow all about 25BB deep SB open shoves I shove and button calls. Forgot what I was in bathroom for SB shows A4 button has A4 turn is a 4 river 9 I Rise like a phoenix battery comes out of laptop and you can guess the rest the laptop now only works off the mains.

    Could you please tell me as for playing styles which I have 4 categories

    TAG
    LAG
    TP
    LP

    what sort of range would you assign to these players as optimal for stt full ring/6max mtt
    would a good TAG say run 18/16 could you give some ranges to work with I have note pad at the ready.

    Hi Paul.  Got to share a table with you extremely briefly at the GUKPT Walsall....IIRC you joined the table and then the floor came and moved you to another before you even played a hand!

    My question...have you and your son played HU for any significant sums?  Who's won?
