I've reflected all day on my previous thread.

So I sat down to play, first hand QQ OTB, ramped it up 6x and took down the blinds and two limpers, fine.

Second hand I play.......

But please don't tell me a 3/4 sized pot bet would have folded him. Other than that thoughts please...

    I would have bet atleast 3/4 of the pot on the flop, as you said you might not have got rid of him but atleast you'd have got your money in good. But wow, J3, i've seen it all now !

    Sorry Zed mate. The bet on the flop is too weak. C'mon, you know the problem here as you already mentioned it. 24p in to a pot of 86p isnt gonna win you a lot of money. Get more in on the flop and the turn to be fair as thats pretty weak too.

    Dont get hung up on the fact he comes in with J,3 suited and takes the pot by binking two pair. Just play your end correct and the money will take care of itself over time. He may not have gone anywhere if you bet it bigger, doesnt mean you should bet weak tho does it?

    You've got top pair Q kicker, its a strong hand so bet it stronger. If you think he wont fold to a bigger bet, why are you betting it so small? Get the money in the middle mate, you are usually good here.

    Bizarre, you make a good raise preflop but then start making stupid small bets postflop despite hitting your bloody flop.
