Why no answers from Sky?????????????????

  Is anyone from Sky Poker going to explain how they started the VLV Final last night when the semi-final had not ever finished, now i know i wasent playing in this final and would never be good enough to even dream of playing in it but what happened was a complete co*k -up.
        You had all the players not knowing what was going on, 1 player who was chip leader then pulled out of the re-started final another player then had 2 tables popping on his screen.
       Come on Sky Poker why dont you just own up and say you made a complete mess of the whole thing or are you just going to stay quiet ??????????

    I agree with every thing you say.  I was in that semi and came 4th.  We was all chatting and we new it wasn't going to finish before 9 pm.  The timings of the 1/4 final and the semi was all wrong.  Some one for got their calculator LOL.  It was a great shame for those players who had already started the final.  Just think there should be some thing from Sky a sorry perhaps!!

    Well it was a great final in the end.  Congrats to Scotty again.

    Hi Chew

    It's fair to say that there was a mistake yesterday.

    Our priority was to make sure that we (a) sorted the problem to the best solution available and (b)communicated with the players involved. Naturally this was our priority.

    Anybody who was involved who has any questions, as usual, should PM us or contact Customer Care. As I'm sure you'll understand, we cannot discuss specific players on the forum.

    What do you really expect? It's obvious to everyone who was there that they ballsed it up. 

    Tha dunt need the weather bloke to tell ya when it's p1ssin down.

    Will it make any difference if they say sorry???

    Dunno why there was such an effort at the last minute to fill the Vegas final when it's been running all month with v little promotion.

    Things like this seem to have happened before, especially with site outages a couple of times.

    Nvm was a gg when it got going, and a gd result too!

                    2 me no it wont 2 the people who were playing maybe it will, my point was why didnt anyone from Sky Poker let people know what was going on. I didnt see any Mods or anyone else from Sky for that matter writing in the chat box letting the players know what they were doing.
                    But what i will do from now on Dohhhhhhh is i will run any questions i have for Sky Poker  passed you first just 2 make sure im not getting out of line, but only if thats OK with you :))

    Lol,if the 10 pizzas you ordered every night from domino's didn't
    turn up,you'd be looking for an apology (and probanly a doctor).
    If sky have messed up then the least they should do is apologise,as
    they now have done,customer care and all that.

    FWIW, even though it wasn't ideal, it didn't have any significant negative impact on the tourney, or those who played in it. 
    A bit of patience, and a nice cup of coffee, and it was all sorted.

    I feel genuinely sorry for some of the people in this thread who are a bit stressed about it all............. ;)

    Questions were being raised before 11:30am on forum thread,
    Last chance Vegas, re the Sats, Qtrs and Semis.

    I also posted early on the ME thread as nothing seemed to be happening.

    Sky have apologised, end of!

    Just no explanation why it took so long to sort.

    Thats a joke!!!

    Sara36dd08 (Mark) was in the final, while I was railing him.....after sky stopping the game for over 30 mins while they were trying 2 sort out there mess.....we were advised by another player that a new game would start at 9.45pm (SKY didnt even have the guts 2 come on the table and admit there mistake).
    The new game did start at 9.45pm but SKY did not close the old game properly and it kept popping up over the new game.....

    Mark has tried 2 contact several of SKY employees yet 2 no avail he just comes up against a wall of silence which 2 most ppl points to guilt!!!!!
