change in poker points....
Has anyone noticed that the poker points system has changed. Now in May i worked up to 8000 poker points and received 200 pounds bonus (fantastic) but i played about 4000 games of roullette to get them and the bonus. 4000 games at 10p per game to skypoker = 400 pound from me in skypokers pocket plus the same from my opponents so all in all 800 pound to skypoker. While playing these games i was receiving 2 poker points per game. Skypoker have now changed this to 1 poker point per game which means to get 200 bonus i now have to play 8000 1 pound roullettes at 10p per game from both me and my opponents which means a cool 1600 quid for skypoker and to add insult to injury skypoker have now changed the price of my roullettes 1.27 euro instead of the 1.25 that it was. So in fact skypoker have hit me two ways re: cost and bonus while skypoker are now getting twice the profit. Has anyone else noticed this and what are your thoughts on it. I would also like to hear what skypoker have to say about the changes and why they were done.

also the changed to the poker points just brings them into line with all the other regular games on Sky Poker.
dunno about the currency thing but I imagine that the £/€ has seen some movement lately.
Ok - if you like to play Russian roulettes for the thrill & the rush all well & good, but if you are playing them for cash for points then it is not the way forward.
Your stats show over the last 50 games you have lost 22 Russian roulettes & won 19, which in my book is less than break even. It doesn't take a genius to work out that, the points you have amassed for the cash for points promotion, will never equate in value to the losses you have made in rake.
What is more concerning over the longer period is, that you are losing more than you are winning, so we have to ask ourselves, WHY? - Well, the short and curly of it is, even if it is 50/50 and we do break even as far as wins is concerned, we have still lost more £'s than we have won, because we have paid rake on our winnings & we have paid rake on our losses, so we will always have a minus balance and the cash for points will never make up the difference.
If the cash for points promotion is what excites you, then change your game to cash games - but be warned! - cash is not a 50/50 flip of the coin like a Russian roulette - you need a decent level of ability.
GL at the tables
Russian roulette is not the equivalent of coin flipping !
