The Scheme
I don't think you English have had the pleasure yet, have you?
But what do my fellow Scots think about it? I thought it was fantastically entertaing tv. Harsh on Kilmarnock because you could find similar in any town in Scotland, and probably anywhere Europe, or the developped world, certainly anywhere in Britain. Just different accents.
Right, for the uninitiated. It was a BBC program focussing on a housing scheme in Kilmarnock, Ayrshire, Scotland. It mostly focussed on the dissatisfied of our society. Some (mostly) people that lived on benefits. Some (mostly) people with no hope. Some (many) people with severe drug habits.
Getting tired so will come back tomorrow if I get replys. Basically it amused me (I've known hundreds of such bams) and saddened me (the total lack of hope or ambition they had).
I actually heard it was so huge in Scotland it was being screened in England. You'll need subtitles my friends, you'll need subtitles.
