Shove or Call?

edited June 2011 in The Poker Clinic
Villain here does multi table but after seeing them make many minraises preflop some after limps i quickly put them into dog awful player catorgory so here I have AK make a standard 6x after a limp but after the 3bet is it too weak to just call and basically hope for A/K high flop or is it a snap shove ?

I'm happy to get AK in pre here.

You never know he might fold his 7's/8's/9's/T's even.

So can fold better and call with worse.

Standard shove imo. I would basically never flat AK in this spot, I might fold against some guys (rarely though). I would 4b/c rather than shove if you ever 4bet bluff but you prob dont at 4NL

    Reasons I dont like calling:
    - we still often valuestack ourselves against the 2 hands we are afraid of
    - we c/f 2/3 of the time, sometimes with the best hand
    - we find it difficult to stack hands like QQ when we hit, especially oop
    - we usually only see 3 cards

    Flatting here would be horrendous.

    Simple spot to shove.
