    He had an underpair - which will drawer good (as I've heard some people say) 30% of the time. With AA, the issue to call someone else's "all in" isn't one of who potentially has the best hand, but one of how much you're prepared to stake, and possibly, lose on a 70% drawer (assuming you reckon the raiser has a pair). What you have called it if someone else had called it as well - even though you had the best starting hand? What about two other callers? At what stage, if any, would you throw your AA away?

    I don't agree with the poster above commenting that he put you on an AK. My experience on the £0.02/£0.04 tables is that the majority of players just aren't that sophisticated - I've seen people go all in with any pair, A8o, 10,3s . . . you name it - and such plays get a result with monotonous regularity.

    AA doesn't stand for automatically acquire more chips  :-)
