Pretty much readless in this game, only been on the table for 5 hands, do you think a thin value bet is good in the long run or otherwise? How do you feel the hand played out?

Hand is well played, I think its slightly too thin to bet river here. Not many hands call flop and turn  and river that you still beat unless he plays really weird

I probz check, would be quite a marginal value bet, i say this now but I know i'd put £2 in, get jammed on and fold, i think check is best.

Haha this is what I'd do, without the fold part......... probably put a small bet in planning on folding to a raise, then end up calling it off anyway.

yeah lol, i convince myself that he's jamming because he thinks my river bet is weak, snap it off and then notice he's got a flush and cry

What i decided was that with the raise from early position his range could be many pp's, ax, kx so on, thought i'd make a bit extra from the overpairs with a smaller size bet. Could see the argument for checking as i was unsure myself thought i'd ask for the general concensus. Cheers guys

Andy, while I think overpairs prob call your river bet, he hardly ever has them because he nearly always cbets flop with them. Basically 54,56, overpairs are the hands you beat which call all of which may not even be in his range
