Following the news of the explusion of Rushen & Diamonds from the the Blue Square Conference....

Northampton Town have offered anyone who had already paid for a Rushden season ticket for next season, a completely FREE season ticket at Northampton.

I've never seen such generosity from any football club ever before! Nice touch David Cardoza!

It's all about bums on seats though isn't it. Yes, they're effectively gonna give away maybe a hundred or so free season tickets but that'll be extra revenue on match day that they wouldn't have had plus an opportunity to get some extra renewals next year.

Still a good offer though.

Yes it is a very clever marketing move, as this story is getting national coverage now. All good news for the club
