Most people got it right that he is strong and has atleast 2 pair, the fact is it's an easy call because of your stack, don't try brag about some sort of amazing call when it's standard, doesn't look good.

I know what you mean by the way I posted it looked like he had a good hand. But most people would have folded. And in a cash game stack doesnt matter, Its all money. And i didnt think it was an amazing call but just wondered what other people would do.

its nothing to do with that. if you buy in for £10 and they buy in for £10 and you get 2 pair v 2 pair (standard stack off btw) instead of winning £2 for your buy in you win £10.

thanks Donald. It also of course has a major effect on what your betsizing should be if playing a shorty.....i.e do I bet 3/4 of the pot or since that leaves him only another 1/2 the pot left get it in now.

Or what is my raise amount pre......is the shorty just gonna shove my raise??

You may also want to play slightly more cautiously when you are against another big stack as any all in events stand to lose you your whole stack - or win dependant upon your mind set.

Oppos stack should effect your way of thinking and how you play out your hand.......but meh.

I care. I think Tapeworm has some of the best low stake advice on the forum. Simply because he knows these levels better than anyone. I think dismissing his advice is a huge mistake.

Now since its clear to me that you dont want to imrpove i dont get why your postinf in the clinic.

Ok, but no-one is understaning what I am saying. I agree with tapeworm. What I am saying is that If i had £10 and someone went all in with £5 i would be no more/less likely to call if he went all in £5 and I had £5 at the table.
