The way the hand plays I dont see how you can think of folding.  If he's slow played a monster its just a cooler.

J4 or 88 is my gut feeling here outside of the hand and from your tone.

But the way the hand plays its going to be a huge fold, unprofitable in long run. 

Cant put him on J's, K's with the make up in the BB.  KJ is an option but he has massively misplayed it if so, only getting action if so from a 5% shot. 

Checking behind 8's at turn is tricky. 

But overall the way the hand plays how do you pull out a fold?  As you comment "Sigh, have to call?.  2800 into 7600?

Answer being pretty much yes bud, against all but the nitties slow playing nit that ever was

never fold ever, VUL he has a house aswell, just a cooler, i'd think more ace jack, but 88 was defeintly ul, always another hand,

Your instincts are good here, understanding that he's only jamming river on a slim range.  It wouldnt occur to any rec player here that they were beat, fully expecting to see trip J's or a flush at SD.

But it still doesnt mea you can fold given stacks and pot.  Because enough people would go crazy on river with a slow played J or making back door flush for it to be profitable.

Although i probably bet out flop as we have position 1/2-2/3 pot , i dont mind bet fold flop here really as its a paired board its hard for them to call.
