    This thread had now become a place to discuss the proposed team race to £50K.

    Team51 will still be undertaking our £51K challenge whether this team race gets off the ground or not.

    It's not often i agree with a High Viz Vest wearing plopper but that was exactly what I was thinking!!!!!
    Perhaps £51 might be a more realistic target.

    Dont you think it would be good if all the teams went for a specific target? Lets say 50K. Thatwould be good fun, make it very competitive and maybe organise a special freeroll for the winning team?

    No seriously though. We are doing a £51k challenge for obvious reasons but it's a great idea to race to £50k - and Gary who's original idea this was - what are your thoughts?

    the only problem is that each team has a different number of members, ours is capped at 20 whereas your team have LOOOOAAAAADDDDDS and so does the hitsquad which gives you a significant advantage

    In theory this is a great idea, but it could get very complicated. It needs ironing out in advance.

    Team numbers
    Existing members only
    How it's calculated and who does it

    are the first things that spring to mind.

    We will need a set of rules ...... or worse .......a committee!!!

    True youngy. But this encourages more team rivalry, more banter, and a bigger purpose for being in a team. I think a challenge lie this is ideal if we are to have teams. We may as well continuously create comps between each team i think it makes it alot more interesting!

    The idea is complicated though and needs ironging out but i dont see why ti cant be organised tonight, started withing the next few days then we have a great team comp going. Its a chance to prove your team are the best. All that really needs to be worked out is the numbers in each team. There w]are ways to get round it im sure, maybe just 20 players from each team of the captains deciding? Could even do individual cashes and keep tables of each teams top cashers...

    The DTD is a great team comp and long may it continue. But it's only once a week. A running challenge updated daily is a different thing altogether. It will give daily interest and banter fodder.

    Team captains or reps need to get involved. If the general concensus is for it fine but too many voices will cloud it.
