Trying something different

edited June 2011 in The Poker Clinic
I recently tried something different in a micro stakes game. The plan? Only play pocket pairs and always see a flop with them as cheaply as possible, irrespective of the pre-flop action. It was difficult at times to throw away AK pre, or not raise with KK, or call re-raises with deuces, but that was the plan.
Anyway, I turned a tenner into 25 quid in a couple of hours with this basic strategy. Not saying it was a good strategy, but I just wanted to try something out.

So I'm interested - what have you experimented with? Maybe taking a flop from position with any 2 suited even in raised (but not re-raised) pots? Playing an entire session without calling once? How did it go?
