thanks Rover and everyone who wished me well in the roller last night.

I felt I was doing ok until just before the 2nd break when I felt that I needed a double-up to be in the running for a cash prize and got a little too attached to a flush draw ..... unfortunately one that didn't quite make it into a flush! Had the flush been completed .... who knows? But hey, that's poker!

21 players went out of the roller before me (all of whom I hold great respect for and aspire to be like!) and I finished 35th out of 56. 

And guys and gals, I (+ this challenge) even got a mention on TV!!!! .....

This time last year, budgirl taught me how to play poker, I didn't know a jack from a king then!!!!! so putting the roller at one side for now, the completion of this challenge alone was an awesome way to celebrate my 1st year of poker and a massive thanks to you all for sharing in my joy.

Anyway, enough about me ......

Sad to say i lost at level 11 I was low on chips (about 1200) and was i the big blind with AJ facing a raise, i shoved but unfortunately my AJ didn't hold up to A6 (that's poker i guess) had that held up who knows, but i'll definitely give it another shot. GL to all taking part!

And Irish can I have my 3rd place on the leaderboard please
