Well completed levels 1-6 and managed to (really) grind my B/R back up to a not so shabby 12.80 (or so) so now iv got sum more funds to take on this awesome challenge

Many thanks for the advice THEWAYTOGO 

Was guna risk the 11 dym but that's the one where the majority of the time it seems to go t its up lol 

So I chickened out of it and headed back to the heady heights of the 30p dym 

GL to all attempting the challenge

But do feel (IRISHROVER) that this challenge should come with some sort of Health Warning to warn ppl of the addictive effects this will have on the rest of your free time lol

well done mate when you not used to playing for the 20 pound double ups  the heart does start beating a bit , prob cos when playing the smaller dym ya get called by all the joke players and miraclously they out do you with there j5 off v aa , feel would be more gutted if bad beat on the higher levels , i usually know i am in front more times than not but the clown s then call your all in with rubbish and poker gods punish you , but as my sharkscope shows i do win consistently so the fish can keep pushing with rubbish really as in long term i will always come out on top , cant believe how yidette and kev coke were feeling when entering the 30,50 and 100 dym , fair play to you guys

A piece of advice for any1 doin the double your money challenge avoid a player called Mikey664 (idiot) 5 players left in 2.25 dym 1 large stack not (Mikey664) blinds 75-150 I raise to 600 on the button with A-K hearts him s/b calls B/B folds flop comes 9-6-9 he checks I shove knowing he has none of it, he calls leaving himself with just 240 left with.................................................... Q-10 off turn 7 (i think) river 10 

Can any1 find out where he lives so I can go and give him a right royal hiding the bloody muppet

hello thewaytogo,

can't speak for kev but I had to force myself into believing that the buy-ins on the last 3 games weren't really a part of my usual bankroll. In my mind. I tried to separate the dym challenge winnings from money put aside for the tournaments I usually like to play. So, in effect, when I pressed the button to register for the £110 dym, it really was only costing me the 30p that I started the challenge with. Hope this makes sense. 

All my honest thoughts throughout the challenge are in my blog DYM Bliss, apologies if you've already seen it.

Having experienced my first spt at cardiff this weekend, feeling shattered but full of inspiration from meeting some of the sky poker legends , in the bar at the tables, and having experienced being taken out by Tikay on the friday tournament has taught me a lot.
Dennis, today I have achieved  in 1 day , what I could'nt do in the last month(kept failing at the 4th level). have conquered level 6 and now attempting level 7.

Just an update on my revised challenge that i was doing originally i was going to try and do 2 at every level all the way up to level 12 making a total of 24 dym`s but after spending 3 days in the 30p, 60p and £1.15 i came to the conclusion that if i didnt change my plan then the laptop was going to have some flying lessons as spending all that time in the first 3 levels was doing my head right in.
So here is my new revised way of doing the challenge i have set myself the target of going from level 1 to 12 then from 12 back to 1 again so in effect i am still going to try and spin 30p into £400 wish me luck.

GL Kev Ive been the same for the past 2 days however finally escaped the bottom of the barrel today won't say where I'm at don't wanna jinx it just yet but will update if I get thru the 1 im on now

Too late IRISH  lol I've now decided to ban myself from the community for the remainder of this challenge it's a bloody curse, 

Every time I come on here i go out, going back to start once more so hopefully get the small ones out of the way an start again in morning

Run like god my ar*e lol should be called dodge all the players that dont have a clue how to play DYM, and the drunks, and the ppl who call for a gutshot, 2 outer, 1 outer, 2 high flush draw, from behind to miracously hit on the river and in some cases the people who have never heard of or seen a bloody deck of cards 

Well anyway GL to all the serious poker players out there may the gods be with you you'll bloody need it
