You've obviously led a sheltered life? I see this most days of the week, ok it may not be the 6 spades, but its still only a flush board with one of the players holding a higher flush card than the lowest showing. Its more interesting when 2 players have higher flush cards, now that is real area51 stuff lol.

ok the truth........................ i needed it in black and white to prove to the
"expert" in our pub poker league...he is always right you see.......

we also always argue over the case where someone has raised then short stack goes all in for about 50 chips more(usually about 1 tenth of a blind)
then next player tries to go over the top but cant because shorty has'nt raised a full blind.....he thinks he can isolate i say he cant......

there has been a couple of threads on this but i could'nt be bothered to find them so if anyone has a link i would be grateful.

I think this is the relevent rule from Robert's Rules of Poker:

Multiple all-in wagers, each of an amount too small to qualify as a raise, still act as a raise and reopen the betting if the resulting wager size to a player qualifies as a raise. Example: Player A bets $100 and Player B raises $100 more, making the total bet $200. If Player C goes all in for less than $300 total (not a full $100 raise), and Player A calls, then Player B has no option to raise again, because he wasn’t fully raised. (Player A could have raised, because Player B raised.)
