survivor bubble

edited July 2011 in Poker Chat
Survivor is basically a big DYM.  So why do people at a table not at risk when the bubble arrive still bet?  I have experienced this twice in the last two days. Day 1, 2 to go out blinds 200 400, my table 3,000 chips lowest stack 6,000 highest.  Tornament lobby has player with 55 chips and 165 chips.  I am fold central, run down the clock, pocket queens, fold them. Button raises bb calls. Check to showdown. A6v 10Q.  You can not be serious. Day 2, 1 to go out, same senario, no one at risk at table button 3x raise.

At a guess I'd say it's because they don't really understand the dynamics of these types of games. All you can do is play your own game & as long as you get through then that's all that matters.

Your right mate, but as you cannot type anything in the chatbox when playing, as that would be considered collusion, I thought I'd post it on the forum to vent my frustration at the  crassness of the play.

1 guy at my table tonight went all in with about 1800 chips with one to the bubble. He was about 10 from bottom at the time. Crazy.
