Any support out there for games other than NLHE ?
I usually play on line mainly for recreation or to try to learn, ( thats another way of saying I'm a losing player online
) although if I look at sharpscope I am a winning player at low level S n Gs, I ruin my figures by entering MTTs at a higher buy in
My online games are usually failry low stake, £1 - $2 buy in MTT or SnG or low level cash 2p - 4p up to 10p - 20p for a number of reasons but mainly cos I try to follow all the usual bankroll management advice.
However when it comes to live games at my local club I am a winning player , the games are MTT with buy ins ranging from £10 up to £40, and since I started to keep track better about a year ago I reckon I win about twice what I stake
Now in order to learn Omaha ( PLO8 , PLO ) I would be willing to carry on my losing streak online at low buy ins in order to develop a live game which I beleive would pay off.
Any one else fancy games other than NLHE on Sky ?
And your reasoning ?

I asked something similar in a thread asking what improvements people would like to see here. Apparently it's in the pipeline but no more info at the moment.
Hi FBS Omaha P/L is not really my game, however Hi/Lo Omaha is a game i play a fair bit online. I understand there are going to be some upgrades in the near future on SkyPoker to introduce games such as Omaha and 7card stud (now that is a good game).. The main reason i don't play Omaha P/L is because of the swings, to me it's a real gamblers game and you need deep pockets.
Hi/ Lo Omaha i like short handed 5/6 players...it's a thinking game and if i had any advice to someone wanting to play for the first time, then find someone who can be a mentor to you talk to them or read articles (online) or books about the game.. My personal favourite game is Pot limit 7 card stud, over the years ive won many tournaments at this game but sadly Hold Em has killed the live game in casino's.. So like yourself I'm looking forward to the new upgrade here and hopefully a few Omaha (for you) and 7 card tournaments..
