Shouldn't be readless but I am cause been at work all day and now 3 hrs into a tourney getting a bit tired at the wrong time. I don't think he's been raising the SB every time but its normally getting to BvB if i can recall.

easy call.

I might just shove over his min raise coz he can call with loads worse.

By him 4bet shoving he's obv alot stronger now but having 3b you can't fold now against his stack.

Almost 2/1 on a call.  You are not too much more than 2/1 against KK QQ or AK maybe 3/1 v AK and there is a more than decent chance you are flipping with a lower pair or dominating a weaker Ace.  AA is the only hand crushing you.  You still have about 55 blinds if you call and lose.

I did call, but given the shoving range here, maybe a call of the initial raise is better - i agree once i've 3bet i have to call with his stack size

Just felt spewy and not sure im ahead pre enough times here


problem with shove is surely he only calls when im beat - plus i like to try and play same with a range of hands and there are plenty of hands i'd raise but not shove

Thinking about this again, your 3K bet pre is not right. I think it's a good bet with AA to draw the villain in, and it's also a good bet with J8 - a hand that can play a flop if necessary but can easily be folded to the raise.

AQ is just too strong or conversely too weak for this raise! It's just got to be the shove.

BvB you are ahead more then enough times for this to be the right play this time he wakes up with a hand but he can do that with a range of AX type of hands that AQ have dominated also a lot of small pairs where you are flipping. It was definitely the right play late in a tourney especially

I've never played you, but unless you're a total nit, there's plenty of worse hands he could and should call with.

You can also fold out flips and hands like KJs that play well against your hand.

Peg would of shoved either way, cooler, ul peng
