    i won a fare few games and then the river turned on me, not bad play just unlucky rivers..

    all played the same, just unlucky rivers.

    i had a nice win streak going. that suddenly turned into a good lose streak...

    You honestly could do yourself a favour Al by posting some hands and listening to the advice given. You don't have to take it on board, but at least consider it.

    You play lots, you are obviously a mad-keen player, so it would make sense to try and get better at the game. 

    Post some up here, loads of good players look here, it doesn't have to be the poker clinic. 

    Putting it all down to bad luck aint gonna get ya anywhere.

    DOOHHHH,  u have seen me play, watched and played against me, u probably know my game.. it is just unlucky when someone catches A on river against ur KK when they go all-in with AJ nothing on flop for them...

    or like the other day my str8 getting beat on river by fh...

    some bad play by me. i know that part and if a poker player can admit when they have played badly on a hand then they are half way to winning...

    but it is when you are miles infront and they make bad calls and get lucky on rivers. that is the annoying part...

    catching sets when only 2 possible cards left in the deck..(if none folded already)


    i have had my QQ run into AA 3 times today. i know that is poker...

    i do know the shortfalls in my game . they are over confidence when on a card streak. but i also know when to fold my AA UNLIKE MANY OTHER PLAYERS on here that cant fold bottom pairs and keep calling and hitting..


    sometimes i am not aggresive in my play, so times over aggresive...

    i watch the table and see how they play, u have seen how tight i can be... until i see how they play....

    as for , thats poker.. i have had a bad river run for 2 months and just thought it had changed this lunch time when i was not getting beaten on rivers, their chasers were not coming..

    tell me i played it wrongly. tell me where i went wrong.. the guy was aggresively calling every hand ....


    no matter what someone raised all game, he got lucky 3 times in the game and won from behind and then beats me by a bad call/lucky call on river..


    this has been happening to me... not bad play...   if i had pushed he would of called...

    LOSING ON RIVERS TO PLAYERS WHO CALL FROM BEHIND.....

    EITHER AFTER FLOP AND THEY CALL AND HIT RIVER(NEVER TURN)

    OR EVEN ON TURN ALL IN THEY CALL AND HIT RIVER...

    Why didn't you just shove all in pre? 

    Look at your stack in relation to the blinds, it's an easy shove.

    it does not matter, he wud of called neway,

    he had been folding when i was raising after flops, just this time he did not fold and caught a river..
    now u r telling me i played it badly or he got lucky which one..

    What has his play got to do with anything???

    Ignore his play, and concentrate on what you do.

    Him making mistakes is a good thing, but it's no excuse for you to make mistakes.

    A shove pre is the correct move here.

    but u r not just playing the cards, you are playing the ppl and how they play....  you can play a hand badly and win and play a hand good and lose...

    it is not just the cards, it is the players on the table ......
