2nd hand in off the break. 8-8. Raises from MP up to 12k, player on the button moves all in for 52k, Peter dwells. After an hour and a half he calls and is shown J-T. (!!)
Flop KQ4 Turn x River 8.
Bit of salt in the wound, putting him over 300k. Blinds and a little bit of a look on a couple of hands have nibbled a tiny bit, but that was a superb hour for Peter, adding 110k or so to the stack.
Matt Savage is one of the best known tournament directors on the circuit, heading up the WPT for quite some time. Today he's sat in Day 3 of the WSOP and is watching the slaughter of Brits around him.
First up was Nik Persaud, who was eliminated in the middle of Level 12. His seat was taken by Sam Trickett, who was eliminated from the same seat an hour later.
Whatever happens, please don't let Peter sit in that seat.
Players have headed off for a dinner break now, with a luxurious 2 hours for them to go and chomp on some of the burgers and pizzas in the 'Poker Kitchen'.
Great updates guys, thanks. Shame about the attire really )
Really hope both players push on from here and come back to day 4 with a healthy stack and a good chance of cashing and moving forward to the big time!
30 minutes in to this level and there's not been too much change for Peter, still on around 260k or so. Beaneh is on around 297k.
Two other things I did spy was Huck Seed's elimination from the Main Event by Ben Lamb, Qh-Qd getting chased down by Ah-8h on a Jh-Th-4d flop, a heart coming on the river to send another former champion to the rail.
What was even more funny was Jean-Robert Bellande being given an absolute blasting by the floor manager on the second Feature Table. The big man sauntered in to the middle of the area, only to have a woman half his height read him the riot act and get him off the floor. She wasn't taken anything from JRB, who seemed to have a few words for her as he left with his tail between his legs...

Thanks for the comments, Alan. Appreciate it!
As for the shirt, it had to be done really I'm getting a few funny looks from some of the more patriotic folk out here, but they tend to be a bit shocked when they hear my English accent. Most of them think I am from Australia!
Last break of the night and Peter is on 260k. A pretty dead (half of a) level, with the blinds now going up to 1500/3000/a400 for our final level of the evening.
We've got 1,056 players left and the chip average is 195k, which means our man is very comfortable indeed.
2 hours of play and then we've got one in Day 4. Come on Peter, you can do it!
For the first time in this event, all the remaining players are in the same room. The Pavillion Room is now entirely empty, the bustle and massive crowds a memory. Now it's all in the Amazon and it's business time for the remaining players - 1,052 left, 693 get in the money.
Strolling past after checking out Peter's chip count (235k, down from 260k), I wander past a table with a big pot going down. It's Beaneh's table and our man is in the tank. He dwells for a while before mucking, only to be shown an ace-high bluff.
He doesn't look happy, and nor does he chip stack - without wanting to hang around for too long, he's got to be close to 100k.
...and our winner. Impressive Stack #5: The 'Woah! How Many??!!!' Stack Look Posted by Sky_Dave
If you want to know how the Impressive Stack #5 earned them, it's dead easy. He got it in pre-flop with 2-2 vs K-K and binked a deuce on the flop. The guy who had his kings cracked dropped enough f-bombs on the way out to probably mean he'll still serving the end of cumulative 10-minute penalties at the start of next year's Main.
It feels like Peter is gone into snug mode, sitting on around 220k. Not much too wrong with that, with the blinds at 1500/3000/a400 for the rest of the evening, he should be taking a stack of 200k in to Day 4 barring any accidents/major upticks.
Sick hand alert. No Sky Poker players were hurt in the making of this poker hand. Short stack gets his money in on a Q-4-T flop with bottom set against two opponents. Action on the side. The turn comes 9. Villain #1 bets, Villain #2 raises. Villain #1 shoves, Villain #2 calls. Villain #1 shows J-J Villain #2 shows J-J River 8. Thanks for coming. Posted by Sky_Dave
Another day down and a new nickname earned for Peter; 'Day Four'. I know, original. He's played a corker of a day today considering he was utterly card dead for the second half. His big hand came early in the day, but it seems like all the good hands were left in the Pavillion Room. After his move to the Amazon, the cards dried up, sending him down towards 200k at one point. The line in the sand was drawn, and some crafty aggression late in Level 14 sent him in the right direction again.
The day was less successful for Beaneh though, bust in around 900th. After being bluffed in a massive pot, the young man was nursing a stack of around 90k, and while the details of his final hand has eluded us, his talent for poker has not. He's done well in the side games by all accounts, and with the exception of one big pot going against him, has played very credibly for three days against a huge field. He'll be disappointed not to cash of course, but the positives are undeniably there. We'll see more of this man in the future I am sure.
Today was Peter's day. 853 players remain. The average is 241k. Peter has 261k. Can he make the money tomorrow? We'll be here from around 7pm UK time. Now, let's get a MASSIVE virtual rail going for the man and make sure he gets it done, shall we?

How did we get those?

I don't blame him, mind.

We should see Peter make it to Day 4, unless he gets A-A or K-K.
Dealer, give this man some junk for the next 11 minutes.
Come on Peter, get us in to Day 4.
Peter makes Day 4 of the WSOP Main Event!
