cash places in tourneys.
A lot of players wait 'til the last minute to enter tourneys - as do I. I can't speak for others but my reason is because i watch the borders.
If 30 players enter a tourney 1 in 6 players cash - odds 5 - 1 . if entry is 29 players 3 players cash which is just short of 10 - 1 so I wait 'til the line is crossed. These lines go all the way up the scale. Wouldn't it be better to even this out a bit by adding a cash place for every 5 or 6 new entries as happens in satelites . Then I wouldn't be poised waiting for the next step to be reached and perhaps entries would be more fluid . I think it would encourage more early entries and that in turn would encourage even more entries because the prize money would become more tempting earlier.
