is this too tight a fold at nl4?

not much of a read on the guy - reasonably new to table (from memory - it was 1am!) and done nothing out of the ordinary

the reraise pre to me meant KK,AA,AK,etc
c-bet out thinking the flush board might scare him away, but when he came over top, took along time but reluctantly folded. Just didn't feel right to call in my gut.
Now not so sure.

4bb pre bet - usually on this table got the job done in terms of thinning the callers.

i'd snap call, even if he has flush we have 10 outs on turn 8, ez stack off imo

The more i look at this the worse it is, he is a shortstack so even if he has managed to flop flush or top set you cant fold here

sorry hate to be overly critical but dont ever fold a set at nl4 no matter how scary the board is

Remembering that the K of diamonds is out there, it's impossible that he would have flopped a flush or a straight given the opponents 3betting range of QQ+AQs+ that WB gave in the opening post.

So we only lose to 1 hand and thats pocket Kings and the biggest cooler ever.

There's nothing to even think about here anyway, we've got a set v 50xbb!!

 What hands do you want to scare away? What hands do you think he flats with? Also you nearly have odds to call shove against a flush or a straight

don't fold sets in raised pots on the flop at any level when < 100 bbs deep.
