14 straight even numbers.
first 7 all from 1-18, second 7 all from 19-36.
if that's random, my left foot is an ostrich.

the excuse that eventually it will happen (14 straight even, or odd, or black, or red, or 1-18, or 19-36) doesn't wash.
i could start tossing a coin now and if i spent ten hours a day doing it, i'd never hit 14 straight heads or tails in a million years.
when the odds of something happening are more than 10000-1 (that's just the straight even numbers, not considering the first 7 numbers being low, second 7 being high) something is fishy.
It's clearly not random, it's to stop people playing the double up game.
ie. £5 on red, if red loses, put £10 on red, if red loses put £20 on red etc etc, you can do that forever and eventually win £5, but the algorithm for roulette looks at bankroll and ensures that can't happen.
if someone has the patience to play roulette for 1pence stakes, stick on red and play the double up game, i'd wager eventually 20 or so blacks would hit to clear bankroll brought to table.
WOW that's a huge sample.
I know this is slightly off-topic, but I turned £40 into £270 at Rushmore by playing Roulette. Good, eh?
But can I get my money out? No.
I've been arguing with them for 2 months now, and have endured some of the most ludicrous 'money-laundering' requirement imaginable (I can blog it if you're feeling particularly masochistic).
In summary: I really don't think Sky is bent. The daily profits that these sites can make, purely by operating legitimately, would cabbage your head. So why endanger that by cheating, and risking the reputation of such a massive business empire – that encompasses all media?
Finally: even if Sky was bent (which it isn't), I'm damned sure they'd allow you to withdraw what remained of your paltry bankroll after you'd lost it on a rigged site. Rushmore wouldn't. I've a good mind to gamble that £270 and turn it into £1,000,000. I still wouldn't be able to withdraw it, but it sure would teach them a lesson
Conspiracy theories will always abound. A good mate of mine, whose father ran a small casino, insists that a good croupier, can actually 'place' the ball on a Roulette wheel with an expert spin, to within either side of a specific number.
Some people say that Elvis lives; some believe in alien life forms; others contest they've seen a beast in the Lochs of Scotland.
One thing's for sure; when I stop believing in an entity, I take my money elsewhere.
i worked in a casino for almost three years as bar and hospitality manager, the bar was about 20 feet from the roulette table and over the three years saw some sights for sure.
13 reds on the spin one night, was the most 'same' 50-50 hits I saw.
saw a famous soap actor lose 30 grand in two hours.
a woman who was only there due to her husband, chatted with me at bar then hit the table with 20 quid. five spins later she had more than two grand, cooly left the table and returned to bar.
an american football team with coach and staff came in one night. 33 of them. i know 33 because the loudmouth yank coach was loud enough so everyone could hear. he gave all 33 £50 each, on the condition that they put it each on a different number. his philoshophy being one of them would have a nice earner. false. first spin missed. he laughed and gave them all fifty again. they all missed. he didn't laugh this time. 3rd time, same story, fifty each. house wins.
i had to walk into office and almost laughed myself senseless.
my original post was meant to be tongue in cheek and a thread about bewilderment about what i witnessed.
