Average pot, cash tables.

edited July 2011 in Poker Chat
How many hands is the average pot based on?
Is it based on last 5,10 or 20 hands?
How many hands do you think it should be based on? me thinks last 100 hands would be helpful.

I would assume its last 10, i think it should be 100 and would be useful if you had other information available like on other sites pre flop agression % of flops etc

Its just a bit tilting when i get all excited coz i have found a table with 80bb av pot.  Then you sit down and its full of nits, the only reason the average was so big was a AA vs KK a few hands before.
Yg i wouldnt like to se % flops seen as peeps will see what they are doing wrong, dont give em any stats for them to improve

I don't see the value of this figure unless you know how long the seated players have been there. From what I've seen players jump in and out of games and the table is always changing. I think your best bet is to go to the table and watch for a while , then judge it on what you see.
