Early stages of £2.20 deepstack hence muchos limping and generally bad play.

Limped along myself getting 9-1 and hoping for good flop should I have just folded?

Flop obvz best I could hope for other than two pair but checked as first to act, is a bet out better here?

Flat the bet and hit on turn so bet 400 for value, get minraised and tbh confused me a little and just flatted, better to raise and get it in or wait for river ?

River I checked as wasn't overly happy but called off all in as it looked weak - was this right ?

This is the type of hand that gets me into trouble!! Esp with that flop.

As played I'm def betting big on turn. Hard to say how much now I've seen the hands but poss 1200.

It's hard to get away from and if hes got the A ul.

If you're gonna take the line of flatting the turn, then checking the river is good.

I'd do this occasionally with the read that my opponent is very aggressive and likely to bet the river almost all the time, otherwise raise the turn again.

Obv snap call river is fine.

Why did you flat the turn? I think it's fine but JW, if another diamond comes or the board pairs it might kill your action a little, did you think there was any chance he was bluffing? fwiw i'd 3bet

he could be doing all this with a set as you just flatted the turn so he may take you off the flush expecting you to shove with it. I would call the all in aswell as it could be any set or a lower flush if he has the ace it;s ul and you didn't do anything wrong

i think you played the hand fine, a re raise on the turn may have been better but the way you check the river to get it all in is good, it's just vvvul if you run into the ace flush

3bet turn, as played river is fine, not entirely sure why you think his shove seems weak

yup, re-raise turn, not sure about checking river, i think bet out as weak flush might check behind but would call - i think it can depend a lot on the opponent - ie whether you think he might shove - the objective is to get all the chips in and you need to bet or check with that aim

as played, definately call the river shove - if he has Ace flush, just one of them things, you still made the right play so suck it up and move on
