The Premier League

reading in the national press that Birmingham City now very possibly could be going into administration due to the impending trial for money laundering of their owner carson yueng. im not pretending to be an expert on city or yueng but i seem to remember that before the takeover was done there were plenty talking of him as a bit of a shady character.
This leads into my main point that yet again the premier leagues fit and propper screening system seems to have completly failed and anouther club faces financil meltdown.
surely now the premier league must take some kind of resposibility for this at the very least non football creditors should be payed by the premier league. because if im the owner of a small business and im doing business with a club owned by someone who they say is fit and propper then they should put their moneywhere there selfrighteos mouths are and pay these poor people what they are owed.
