Joey Barton - Which club next?/Would your club want him?
So, Mike Ashley has made another wise decision and decided to let Joey Barton go on a free. Barton's agent reckons there won't be a problem finding him a new club and, as odd as it feels to admit it, I think Barton is right here. He seemed proud to play for Newcastle and was one of their best players last season IMO. Letting him go on a free is Ashley being a footballing donk.
That leaves the question of where next for Barton. I'm a Liverpool fan and if it weren't for the fact we have 87 centre-mids at the moment, I'd be up for having him in the squad. I think he could respond well to playing for Dalglish too.
Would you have him at your club? And where do you think he'll eventually end up?
