In Response to Re: The Team51 £51K Challenge thread : Thanks Billy, it's a start imo. Robert Donat is in the best version of that movie. Seen it loads. One to watch with a lady imo. Posted by mmmchips
Agreed...........best by far.....quality acting without the need of stunning visuals.
Cheers mate, had a half decent day for a change. Posted by chrispip
You done good! ............keep it going -.
My last 45 mins was a total nightmare....i got to 2nd place with a big margin over 3rd etc and was v.close to scotty at the time but then i had to keep running back & forth to get changed and ready for work,....I just couldn't focus as I was in a right panic to get out the house......spoilt it for me a bit but still never mind.

Yeah, saw you was second, thought we might get another 1-2;) Well played.
Excellent going Chris...........against plenty of runners you went really deep and against a quality field....I reckon your finishing position deserved a lot more bucks -
I've been multi-tabling 3 tournaments this afternoon. In the first I annoyingly bubbled when I 3-bet shoved JJ from the BB over the button who'd opened with TT, I'm chip leader if my cards hold, but she/he rivered a T to knock me out.
After an epic bubble I held on for 3rd place in the second tournament (the third tourney is still playing).
Would it not be good if garyQQQ could post the running total in the OP so we could keep track of the challenge, at the moment i have no idea of the scores.

Good idea, will do.
I'm becoming a bubble specialist at the moment, just came 6th in a £5 freezeout with 5 paid. On the bubble I got A9 all-in vs A4 for a pot that would have propelled me from 6th to 3rd, by the turn I was almost there and held a nut-flush draw for good measure, but it became a chop when the board paired on the river in the wrong suit. A few hands later I busted when I shoved AQ into QQ. Yesterday I bubbled the 2-00pm £11 Bounty Hunter when I squeeze-shoved KK over a raise and a flat, the original raiser made an awful call for most of his stack with with A4o and binked an A, after the hand Tallytink (she was the player who flatted and folded) said in the chatbox that she'd folded AT, so the lucky villain had binked the case A.
Gary ............you're doing a gr8 job for Team51........on the tables, on the f/b forum eg: the shirts, with keeping us up to date with our Team £51k challenge on top of the 'results' thread you do for the sky community............ do you have any time for yourself ?...........a true all rounder buddy.....just a shame the rng isn't so appreciative..............hope it'll let you bink a biggie soon m8.
