Cheers for this Dave. I still dont get the scoring! We have two winners, the overall winner and loads of TKP cashes and somehow Team24 still manage to get top spot!...I think I need another couple of pints and it all might seem clearer.....or perhaps not

well its quite simple, the scores of all three tournements are added up...and the one with the lowest total score is the winner......he gets 10 points.........and so on down to 10th for 1 team point....the TEAM with the most points wins...
its not about the money..:)

The Scoring will never suit every party, fact is the way you feel TKP suffered this week is exactly as THS had suffered in previous week & months, in that we had the most tourney winners, but these individuals unfortunately let their whole score down with one or two bad results!
This week Team 51 managed a 2nd & 4th, whereas No other TKP managed to secure a top 10 place!!
The win situation has been addressed by awarding an extra point for a tourney win, and The main DTD win!
Hence Jaeger gettin the additional 2 points, [well done BTW], fact is, if another TKP had managed 7th or better, points scores would have been same, and you would have won on more wins, if they had been same, you would have won on the less runners rule!
Remember this whole team league thing evolved from a forum challenge between TKP [the originals] and THS, with only bout 12 v 10 LOLOL, so in a short space of time, it has taken off massively to dovetail nicele with Chris & Michaels individual league which has blossomed as well !
The scoring rules were set in agreement with all team Captains & more vocal members LOL, [did take some explaining to maxally, LOL], but everybody seemed to be in agreement, and with a sporting trust we moved forward to the MONSTER it has become!!!
I hope you & everyone else are able to glean alot of enjoyment from it, a i do!! It seems funnily enuf that people take different things from it....
Some do not want to be in a team & enjoy thier independance!
Some are focused on a team game & rail enthusiastically whether still in or even out of tourney!
Some just play an individual game, and take the team thing with a pinch of salt or less!
Some are not even aware iof the DTD or Teams, Gl to them!!
But what it has been is a superb ice-breaker for both New or quieter players, and allowed others to have the same kind of Cameraderie that YOU in TKP have succesfully cultivated for a year or more!!
Any serious change now would be difficult to say the least but am happy to POWOW with other captains or throw floor open to ideas....which we did do at start and as more TEAMS JOINED!! [A SIGN OF SUCCESS MAYBE, LIKE BREAKING THE CENTURY BARRIER]
Sorry for the Long-winded reply but i assure you this did not take as much time as calculating and checking and then probably correcting the league table, takes me!! Prob because i am of inferior intelligence to HitPup, LOLOL!!
So, much respect to, Michael, Chris, and now Imber & others who are putting much more of their own time to the benifit of the forum, and i am proud of the effort, ethic & sportsmanship they put into their work!

tbf week 1 is easy, following weeks come harder with all the CnP'ing!

The DTD is on fire at mo, and has spawned a couple of other great ideas!
This Team League table is Not important, [We are bottom lol], just a collation of how each team has done in Chris & Michaels individual DTD league, where the individuals are rewarded!!

I decided on this new rule so we could see who exactley are the worst DTD team on Sky Poker!!
This wooden spoon award is being titley contested by the 3 off-form Teams of Bounty, Sky [underdogs obvs] & unfortunately The Hitsquad, who all seem to be taking the 'Turtle' tactic in this race, as opposed to the obvious 'Hare' tactic, which is the trap we all wanted yo to fall into, lol !!
Nice work Dave as per usual. I'm sure hitsquad will come out of their shell eventually. In the meantime, if you turn the colour right down on your monitor, all that red will look pink.

OK, LOL, Have checked & double checked, and this will go down like a sack of proverbial in the Orange parts of the Country, LOL!!
BUT, be Strong & take Your Medicine, rules is rules, & are, if equal points, wins count, if equal, least runners count, if equal, highest finishing position!!
This was to favour the smaller teams at bott end of week table to encourage them as structure generally favours bigger teams!! All agreed at start comp, Bigger teams just gotta put up with if they dont get a top 10 or win it gonna hurt...BAD!! LOL!!

This is why I never understood it in the 1st place!! How can a one player team (Mickfishdonk) finish rock bottom of the overall League table but still finish higher than two teams in your League???

Next week, we will play just Irene who will shove blind 1st hand in every tourney which will prob improve our League position

Obviously TPT has no probs with the scoring sytem, but then we do tend to be able to get at least 1 player in the top 10 lol.

Example , does not James's Team Bounty deserve recognition for having just ONE of TKP beat him by One Place, BUT MICKJENN WAS LAST!!! & Still scores!! Maybe the rules are biased to the ONE-Man teams, or maybe I JUST LOVE AN UNDERDOG, {Fulham, HitSquad, Maxally..etc},....
BUT..........IS IT NOT MORE OF AN INCENTIVE FOR THE BIG TEAMS TO MAKE SURE THEY TOP TEN OR WIN A TOURNIE!!!!
