    Nice cashes MrB, J3ono and Silentchiv. Well done. As some of you may know I  never played cash in the first 12 months of being on here. I recently started playing NL4 and have made a profit every session. Last night I had a good chat box session with Waller, Bornablade and Roguecell. They all said that I am good enough to be playing NL10 at least. I know I am a decent MTT player but I'm not sure of my ability as a cash player. But I have decided to give it a go! So apart from tomorrows Orfordable which I will miss as I'm going to a 40'th birthday party I will play the DTD Monday but I intend putting in some sessions at cash and give the MTT's a miss for a week and see how  I get on.
    But I have a couple of questions. If I play at NL10 do I need to multitable to make it worthwhile? I can play 3 but am more comfortable with 2. Is it worthwhile just playing 1 table? And also is there anywhere I can find info on cash opponents as Sharkscope don't track cash? Or is it better to open a table and just watch the play for say half an hour before diving in? Any advice to a cash novice is welcome and I'll keep you informed as to how I get on.

    Hi all sorry to but t in on your team thread, but I for one think the JockBMW coaching thing thas been blown out of all proportion.

    The fact that he is receiving coaching from someone is not illegal, the fact he is paying for it is not illegal,

    and he is not receiving any live coaching, there are sessions set aside where they hook up and discuss things, and i'm sure you'll find that neither are sat at any tables while these sessions are underway

    This discussion is not directly to do with JockBMW's Blog.

    It was a discussion we were already having before Jocks Blog regarding the use of Web Cams/Video for team events etc and we were not sure if it could be used legally for poker or not.

    We then noticed in Jocks Blog that, these types of tools are already being used for coaching etc and therefore the discussion has continued along the line of the use and legality of them (Not in Jocks Case for Coaching) but generally whether it would be acceptable to use them in team events etc.

    Personally I think many people use them already, but what peeps would think about teams using them is another matter.

    Hi scouse  I wasn't aware that there was an arguement going on about the planned coaching sessions. It's just that I came up with a similar idea a few days before and someone raised a question about the legality of it. I was totally unaware if it was illegal or not.

    Redking it appears that I may owe you a slight apology and that a LIVE coaching session may be against the rules but non live may not. ANYWAY I THINK WE SHOULD PUT THIS TO BED NOW AND CEASE ANY FURTHER DISCUSSION ABOUT IT

    Thank you Sporny and FD :-) not sure about standard of play! but i have never seen so much abuse being given to those who call with hands which are more suited to a rubbish bin! Also you get someone say hello then engage in a conversation and ask you to give them money to play! Would have thought thats not allowed.

    Used to happen all the time during the fairly brief periods  I played on the American sites. Send me 2 dollars and I'll send you back 10 lol. And the abuse was a lot worse than on here. Can't say I miss playing on them.

    About 3 weeks ago I made a post asking for anyone who was not on my friends list to send me a friend request. This was to make it a lot easier for me to P.M. everyone about our monthly game. The response was NIL. So I will have one last go and I will send out the friend requests this time. I'll go throught the TPT members list and if you are not currently a friend I'll send you a request. So check your P.M.'s in the next day or so. When the next game is confirmed by Sky I can then P.M. you all about the game in one fell swoop.
    So be warned if your not on the list you will not get the reminder and will have to rely on seing the forum post and posts on Facebook announcing the game  or word of mouth.

    Some info for new members the TPT private game (with limited selected guests) takes place on the first Wednesday of every month. We no longer clash with DTD monthly game as they have moved theirs to the second Wednesday. After the success of the Bounty Hunter last time I have decided that we will alternate between a standard holdem game and a Bounty Hunter. Buy in is £5.50 for each game. Is everyone happy with that?
