I just wondered what you guys thought about this. As you all know I now play a lot of cash one of the regulars today said they were all getting fed up with me ATM. Now I do have a lot of respect for this players game and was surprised at this comment of course this came off a big pot win for me.

Now I must admit I have bucket loads to learn in the cash game and this month has not been easy and will have some hard work to do to have a profit but so far every month I have made profit and if I stopped mtts I prob have even better profit, which I won't do as mtt are my home ground.

So I do look at it that I do tend to play different to the other players and do you only get fed up with a player because they have an edge on you or why let them know you think they are a bad player because surely you wouldn't want to tell them just their money? Or am I looking at this wrong?

If you have a different game to other players and they are getting fed up with you  I suspect it's because they don't how to combat your style of play. There are no hard and fast rules that say you must fold this hand or you must raise 3x with another hand. A lot of what you do at the table should be opponent dependant I think especially against the regs and if you have the game to beat them keep at it. Your not here to make friends (TPT excepted) your here to make a living . BTW the only type of player that I lose patience with are the ones that find it impossible to fold and play every hand available. Their style of poker infuriates me, but that's probably because it's so bad.

It was nice to speak to Sporny today and ty for telling me about the posting in brags about sportmanship, realy nice posting by a player about me.

I am finding a lot of people on sky dislike my play and to be honest that does make me happy as there is no point me doing this if I play like everyone else as there will never be an edge. Yes some days I play a lot risker then other days and no I never try and play my hand the same each time dosent matter if its a bluff or the nuts as you will never get paid.

The obvious downside to this I do have bad runs when I cant get anything right but when I look back on all my cashes I am way in profit and thats all that matters. You cant win tornys by playing ABC poker you may win 1 but I doubt ever much more than that.

I never started out to be a target but as time goes on more people keep telling me they see my hands on sky TV a mix of nuts. bluffs and terriable calls but I am also told a lot oh no not you when a table opens up or can we swap seats so I am in position.

I have to accept that I am now getting known on the site by both cash and torny players and nobody likes someone who they cant tell what they are doing. What most people dont relise when they make that call and yes their bottom pair was good was they made the crying call or why call and not push if they realy thought they knew I was on a bluff and all I did was overestermate them as I think they can see what I am representing when all they see is a pair.

I am very much getting used to people disliking me but you dont dislike a bad player do u and it is a skill I need to develop to use it more to my advantage as my nature has never been to be nasty so I need to brush off comments more and except that this number of people hating my play will hopefully keep growing as it means my game keeps devolping.

WD triplem nice cash keep them coming.Hi mrb you're a good player and people who play at your level want to play against bad players to earn them money.The difference between us,apart from the skill bit,is i like it when people say things on how bad i am,fish donk idiot whatever.The way i look at it all i think to myself why don't you come back in a couple of hours and you'll see me on the ft.You are i know talking cash but come the end of the night you'll have their money.If they don't like the way you play or understand your game then that's their problem.Just how you laughed off that gay comment, just take their money mrb.If they are worried about your game they are not concentrating on theirs.Gl mrb.Gl at the tables guys.

Here is how I honestly view your game...given note I have made the few times I have come across you in mtts, obv can't comment on cash.

You are a nightmare on the tables but purely in a good way. I have disscussed this with 2 other players during a game once, both had nothing but praise for your game. You are an awkward player as you will make calls pre flop that perhaps most would muck....I dunno say 10 7s for instance.....but these kind of hands can crack the likes of AA and KK plus you're more than good enough not to stack off on a 10 high board whereas others maybe would.

This makes it extremely hard to put you on any cards and even harder to tell when you are at it! Most importantly, it is a highly profitable style of play for you, results don't lie!

Take other peoples remarks as a compliment, I wish I had half the game you had and the fact that people don't wanna play you says it all.

Dont get me wrong I am not upset about the comments made by people but it dosent do any harm to check I am not on the wrong track. I agree JJ I want to be called the names etc but sometimes ur too close to something and just wanted to see what you thoughjt.

Waller ty for the comments and what you have said is how I hoped I came off as this is how I play the game as if every time I raised they knew it was a big hand I never get paid.

I have noticed when a cash table breaks down very few want to carry on HU which I would be a lie if I didnt say how good that feels that people dont want to play you

If only they knew I am just a luck box lol

I echo everything that Dagg & Waller have said.

A good player is never going to moan unless your taking all his money, so you must be doing something right.

Your game style leans more towards MTT's rather than cash and this is obviously whats working for you.

My advice would be - don't change a thing, the way you play is clearly giving you an edge at these levels so keep at it.

I just relised I dont know how to post hand history on here dont know why I am called a luck box lol

But I got 66 on 25/50 table

he raises to 1.50 fold to me in BB call

Flop

6510  he bets £2.50 I flat call

Turn 6 he bets £5.50 I flat call

River 3 I take a big risk knowing he is an aggresive player I check my quads to him he raises £14.50 I push all in for £40 he snap calls showing pocket 10s so full 10s over 6s with me wining £98.70 with quads!!
