    Well done all on your great cashes this week - and more importantly thank you all for the great support you give when play is on the tables.  I'm definately noticing my play getting a bit better and I put it down to the great team support.

    Haven't been on tonight as Mother In Law over - and I had to actually "cook" something decent for a change.  Hey ho - I can't cook for toffee but for some reason I do a really great roast dinner.  Tonight they all had leg of lamb (slow cooked for 5.5 hours!!), roasties, stuffing, yorkshires, parnsips, carrots, peas, brocolli, cauliflower, onion rings (because we're a bit strange!) and mint gravy.  Even if I do say so myself it was the nuts!!  Just goes to show - if not running to a computer to make sure I don't miss a hand I can sometimes manage to cook dinner without the smoke alarm going off!!

    Hope you all had good night on tables tonight.


    I'm going to try to sneak on for a quick SPT qualifier game - but will be on ipad not computer so limited chat.

    Your 5 a day doesn't HAVE to be in the same meal lol. Sounds delish Lamb is my fave. Gl in the Sats rose.

    Hi all, went out in 16th place in the DTD1 getting 4.58.

    40+ thousand chips and holding AA, just called 4k and the flop came down 524, top stack goes all in and i call, The turn comes then the river still have AA. Cards turn over and guess what...... The big stack is sitting with a 52 in his hand, SORRY I DIDNT RAISE PRE FLOP. Thats poker for ya,    AAAARRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHH.

    GOOD LUCK ON THE TABLES GUYS AND GALS...

    Had a rubbish DTD out in 85th, 92nd and 84th. At least I'm consistant. Well done all especially Martin nice wine mate sorry I couldn't rail  as I had to be up early this morning.

    I'm completely a non - techie person but I used to love playing farmville on computer and bought Ipad so I could play when out and about.  Of course it didn't blady work as it uses flash player - same as poker.  I asked my dearest hubby (who only loves me when I'm NOT playing poker lol) how I could play my farmville game (see the devious nature again lol).  He checked round for me and then told me to buy an app (69p I think?) called "iswifter" for the ipad.  It works like another internet browser - you just open iswifter and then type in skypoker and log in as normal.  You can buy into games and it will allow you to play by opening the game table on the next tab.  I have tried multi tables on it but you have to keep clicking between the tabs and could easily miss your turn.  It's not possible to have 2 tables on view in mini screen.  If I'm down to just one table I'll sometimes fire up the ipad and sit watching tv with it.

    (Without reading all the war and peace above the basics is you buy the app - iswifter - and you log into skypoker via that lol - but no good for multi tables)

    Hi TPTers, just catching up on forum, not back playing on Sky yet.

    Some very nice results/cashes wp all.

    I think i'll have to spend more time stuffing my face to get to xl. (any Lamb left?)
    Save one of those looser (L) sizes for me Trev, just in case I ever make an SPT.

    It'll be expensive for a round of drinks for TPT at SPT Brum, especially a PIE & a Pint.

    hi guys listen to this... i have been playing on another site recently... played a high roller .... biggest buy in i have ever played !!! within 10 mins im tearing it up leading the tourne led for hours.... we r talking 17k for the winner, still leading the tourne at this point... i sharkscope this guy he is up like 120 odd k.... been talking to him throughout as he was on my table alot of my time..... i have kk he opens utg just over a min raise.... which was to like 40k... i have well over a milllion  in chips he starts the hand with abit less than me, anyways i click it back to 88 oddk he 4 bets to 220 i 5 bet to 500 he flats....... flop q88 i check to this guy as he is so aggro... he jams into me i snap he turns over j8..... WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF im absolutly steaming managed to cash but i think if i spike my king or the kk holds in general i win that tourne outright.. how sick is that i felt like crying !!! ino i must sound like i am never happy but that is the sickest thing in poker i have ever experienced.... Anyways my question is how do i not starting leading towards permenant tilt ? i dont know how to come back from this.................

    morning every 1 finished 10th in turbo main last night for £70.31 ty for rail dale k8 raw and jj got lucky twice 66 into aa and hit set and aq into ak and got chop with 2 pair so the bad beat i got not too bad still MADE UP and thanks again

    yes you do! you want your oppos making -ev plays at you - just sick when they spike it. throw up / kick the cat / get drunk / all 3 / whatever. then dust yourself off and start again
     
    remember they can have atc. i was on the FT of a live 2-day game a while back when the button 6bet with 66, and then shoved over a raise on the turn having missed everything. he got it through and showed it, and eventually went on to win the 10,000 first prize. (guessing his oppo had QQ which was an over pair to the board)

    i could recount 1000s of stories of "how the hell could you have played that" most of which were just bad play, but some of which were audacious moves which didn´t work ie get me off the hand, but then spiked their 1/2/3-outer

    Cheers mate it was just really hard to take..... i just dont understand how he can be such a profitable player after the way he played this hand.... i actually bought in to this tourne to as i attempted to sat in but couldnt get in so decided to take a shot so my cash doesent feel as good as it wud if i satted in..... anyways cheers mate onwards on upwards ayyyyy.... nice cash jj and jonny wp guys keep em coming... and gl tnight in the team game every1 im sure a few of yas will get a few donationations from me... as always !!!!
