    Morning all    Just thought I'd let you all know that I am taking a break from the tables (on here anyways). Quite happy with my game just a bit sick of losing with hands that dominate pre only to end up losing to 2/3 outers or runner runners. TBH it's doing my head in how often I get it in good and end up losing.    Best of luck to all TPT'ers and I will try and get round on Monday and do some railing, just not playing. I am aiming to take a break til the end of the month then will return with a vengeance (hopefully!) at beginning Nov. Quick mention for suits, you have organised the best team on sky, the railing and support for each other is just amazing and I don't think any other team can come anywhere near the team spirit you have fostered within TPT. Hopefully catch up with you all on Monday.

    Have a nice break m8y - but don't go too far and please feel free to rail anytime, you are always welcome.

    I know what you mean about the beats though - I had a torrid afternoon yesterday and don't think I won a single hand by being ahead, so decided to have the evening off after a very bad run.

    The very last hand I played went like this:

    I Raise (Button) with QQ, guy to my left shoves all-in 2.5K, there is one caller, then player after him shoves over the top, so I shove over the top (9.5K) and anyway we eventually end up in a pot 3 handed........

    I show QQ - 1st all-inner shows JJ, 2nd, all inner shows 88

    QQ v JJ v 88 - and...................FFS there's a flamin Jack out on the river. PFFFFffffttttt

    I couldn't take anymore so took the night off.

    Sporny how can you post that hand and react to it as if it's a bad beat? I don't want to be critical but some of the hands you post are totally standard play. The call with A9 suited to a 3x raise would be made by probably 80% of the players on here. Don't be surprised by people calling to hit a flush.  Suited cards seem to affect their brains even though it only increases their odds by 1 or 2% I believe. Even I am guilty of it and I bet you have done it too.

    Please don't take it as a personal criticism as I think your a very good player who certainly seems to cash more often than I do but some of your hand posts leave me a little puzzled. See you tonight in the DS and good luck on the tables.

    Bornablade I know how you feel this happened to me last night in the 7-15 DS. This was my exit hand in 7th if I remember correctly. Villain had been auto raising every hand to steal my blinds and I finally decided enough was enough.
    Ok I'm sick of this trying to post the hand and its all garbelled I give up. I shove allin with 98 and he calls with 76 and hits a set of 6's. I was fuming as Scorpio and Jj will testify.

    Afraid I can't even post my winnings as the tourneys not showing in my tables.

    It was your comment "is this what my day is going to be like" that I interpreted as a bad beat story. My apologies if I got it wrong. But I do agree with what your saying.I hadn't been playing poker long when I decided that the river card should maybe be called the card of death. But there again the river is where the fishermen (a very thinly veiled reference to the donk who killed me last night) are.

    Posting Hands

    The only way to post a hand so it looks ok is to use Internet Explorer.

    Go to "Hand History" then find the hand you want

    Click on "Details"

    Scroll over everything from Bottom to Top

    Right Click "Copy"

    Then when you want to post - Right Click and past.

    Don't worry what it looks like when you paste it - it will look different once you post it or save.

    Thats it - JOB DONE

    Don't use the download or other browsers to post - IT WONT WORK
