MTT's are my weakest format but they can be boss fun. and are surely a better distraction than jeremy kyle and property shows.

Hey Misty, first hand I deffo dont lead flop I check call 1 street and re evalueate on the turn, the reasons for this are you want him betting all his air hands(hands that have bricked flop) another resaon for this is we dont wanna be playing an inflated pot out of position with such a marginal holding, leading looks so weak he could litrally have any2 in this spot and can just out play u on future streets, check call ftw.....

2nd hand is just fold pre, we have a little under 20bbs and this is no where near enough to be playing this hand esp in a sat, also I think if we are going to play this hand we should take the inititve and just raise, this is because we are happy to pick up the pot pre as its a decent %age of our stack, would deffo advocate folding tho no need to get in a sticky spot here, sats are all about laddering to the target prize we dont need to win the tournement.

3rd hand is a little tricky I think givin our awkward stacksize but in a sat again I fold pre, 1 thing I would not do at this stage is 3x raise, reasons for this our our hand is not very strong and if we meet any resistance we are not happy calling off a jam, I think I check back flop also, by jamming flop we are never getting called by hand we are beating, if it was a standard mtt I would check back flop and probs call of on the turn if the board bricks out and then re evalueate the river, but in a sat I think I always just fold pre.

K8LOU pretty much sums it up......

1st hand I Check Fold the flop & deffo don't bet out.

2nd hand I fold pre-flop - we shouldn't get involved with these types of hands

3rd hand with just over 10 Big Blinds I shove or fold pre-flop, our stack size is not big enough to raise pre-flop hoping to hit and if we miss it leaves us in an awkward spot. So I either shove pre and try to take down the blinds or fold & wait for a better hand. If honest I prefer the fold pre.

THANK YOU so much K8LOU and TREV, I've had a quick read and will study at length tomorrow. Its so kind of you to help me and does sum up what Team TPT is all about. 

I've managed to qualify for tonights UKPC from a sat from last night( it over-ran the late reg by miles....there was only 12 left in the semi !!!!!!) so hopefully............

I managed 10th in a DTD game last night for £4.50 - ty for the rail all xx

I also somehow managed to qualify from the UKPC semi game for the final again Sunday night.  I have now started to have a mental block for the final as I've tried and failed so many times that I now think it just will never happen.  However it's still fun trying!!
