Hi Hendrik welcome to TPT. Have sent you a P.M. Good luck all in Orfy. Due to a long succession of really bad scores I'm giving the Orfy a miss for now. I'll be trying to build a decent BR by sticking to my usual Deepies and the odd foray into the Megastack .
a bit of bad play by myself followed by a unfortunate hand against a fish lost whatprobably should have been a great MTT main

a few hands earlier i saw him do limp in SB then cosistantly min bet on the 3 streets so the size he does here should have told me fold the turn rather than calling with what may already be a lost hand and unlikely to win unless 4 comes.

as for this person well my guess is he will call anything for the chance of the head
right keith no home run ball today these are on the nose beacon in the big race at York 315 to you around 3 to 1 and heavy metal in the 255 at goodwood the mark Johnston stable love it there around 6s gl all today
Welcome to the team HENDRIK, glad to see you've chosen to join us. We've spoken a few times and had some fun on the tables, and its great to see you're a fellow Golf Pro. and up in Edinburgh too...... my favourite golfing area in the World, alongside The Monterey Peninsula, California. Had many a FANTASTIC holiday in and around Gullane/North Berwick at exactly this time of year.
In the above hand, not that I'm very experienced but I think I would be folding, putting him on a Flush at least, or maybe even a Full House (KQ, K8 or poss. K7) but thats probably why I'm not winning as much as I should, but I definitely wouldn't be putting my Tournament life on the line BRACEWELL. I'm sure some of the more experienced players will give you their feedback too.
WELL DONE on some great cashes everyone, once again 'The Captain' leading by example. I'm sorry I had to leave (eventually) the other night DALE, but it looks like the 'Misty Magic' left immediately too LOL.
My tips for the horses today are:-
BOLD SNIPER...... YORK 3.50pm (each way) 14/1-ish
GREAT HALL....... YORK 3.50pm (each way) 25/1
and if you like big outsiders I think
SUEIGOO @40/1 (e/w) is a massive price in the same race too
JUNGLE CAT....... YORK 3.15pm (each way) 8/1-ish
Sorry they're in the same races as JONNY's. The other thing I've noticed is Richard Hughes is riding at GOODWOOD instead of YORK, which is quite surprising.....so as he rides GOODWOOD so well, it could be worth following his rides there too.
My POKER hasn't been too clever this last week , so I'm having a day off and going out into TRURO this afternoon and night......Going to be a MESSY ONE !!!!!!!
Good Luck at the tables everyone , and as ALWAYS........
Based on the fact that ALL players have limped into the flop...I'm not putting any of them on the remaining King or a pocket pair.
He calls your flop bet, so I suspect 78, 7Q or any 2 random clubs or spades could be in his range.....However, the turn brings us an 8 & he checks, so I would rule out him holding 7,8,
Which leaves us with any random club or spade flush draw. 7Qc is still a posibility, but I just don't see it, I mean would we really be calling the flop bet with with any 7 on a KK board? i'm not so sure I could.
he could have hit the spade on the turn, but surely an decent player bets the turn if he has improved his hand to a spade flush draw? So that takes me back to the possibility of the club flush draw.....
He shoves the river when you check, so I have to say he's either repping the spade flush or has completely missed the club flush draw.
I think I have to call
Not sure why you didn't throw in a continuation bet on the turn though, surely we don't want to give him a free card to hit his club flush draw?
Anyway, so I think he's missed the club flush & just repping the spade flush and I call.
It's not beyond the reals of possibility that he does have the spade flush, but if he has fair play to him, we allowed him to get there.
Thanks for the welcomes, hope to see you all around the tables.

Hey Misty,
Fellow reprobate golf pro, nice one. I have never had the pleasure of playing out west, visited LA but never played. Are you coming up for the Ryder Cup, I will be there on Thursday, Friday and Sunday. We can have a beer if you are around. Neil
my MTT might be improving but i certainly have got some problems still in me.
could i have some thought of this hand please seeing the king gets my alarm bells ringing because now it has full houses possible. the main full house i have as an issue is 99 or KQ but he said to me that he has a straight and i can understand his point because AK will be doing a call in this spot. Q. when i'm out of position it will be a much more difficult matter but with me being in position i would get to see what he does on the river first. i might be wanting to charge flush draws and getting value from AK but i would not like to loose my life against a full house. does a check make better sense than a bet on the turn knowing that a full house will want value on the river so will just value bet most days?
Bit of a mixed bag tonight, I've seen quad A's three times, one was mine . Donked out of two deepstack MTT's near bubble, on the river, as per usual on sky. Tonight I have seen so many outs hitting on the river on my tables, it's unreal. Many players really p1ssed-off by it.
But on the other side my STT's went well, even made quads a couple of times

Bracewell.....fold. If he hasn't got a better K I'll eat my hat.
Craig....call with the J10. Only concerned about KQ. Our hand is super strong combined with being pretty disguised. Any trip K goes broke here, and we beat way more hands than beat us.

Hi Trev cheers for the advice,
Yeah i can see where your coming from, was foolish not to continue on the turn which i would normally do but watching this guy play after I re-raised the flop from him orginally checking something just didnt seem right, i genuielly thought i was behind on the flop and felt that i wanted to see cheap showdown on the river.
I didnt put him anywhere near the flush after the flop and the fact is was a three bet call out of position and for him to open jam the river didnt make sense at all, honestly thought he had either ak, kq or flopped a full house, just felt like a crazy situation plus i was multi tablin at the time so that didnt help
In the end i decided to fold and he didnt show so ill never know really, probly a bad lay down to be fair but it was deffo out of the ordinary from this guy and in the end I was happy with my decision.
