What to do when your C-bet doesnt work?

Can't understand the hand you have posted tbh but in nl4 if you meet resistance with you C bet it usually means that they have hit something or have a strong draw i usually go into pot control mode here when possible in position check behind  OOP check and call if its small enough you think it is worth it pretty much no point firing 3 barrels at nl4 you will lose more often than you will win when you see they have called your raise with a J 2 off and hit 2 pair or something similar

thanks, having problems posting hands, comes up fine on the post and preview of the post but as soon as i press save just goes all over place, really annoying!

but thanks for ur advice, just seems like I have to completely take the C-bet out of my game. Its like at NL4 your not even playing poker just chucking pennies in the middle and hoping to outdraw everyone

I wouldn't take it out completely but only fire the 1 barrel around half the pot will often get rid of most nl4 players who havent hit or only have bottom pair i tend to only premium hands in nl4 or maybe suited aces connecting pictures or similar off the button. Just don't try and bluff in these games lol

firing 2/3 barrels should probz be avoided at 4NL, with what i've seen most of the players at this limit are fish and you don't wanna try bluff fish, readless just firing a cbet is fine, but i'd give up on a lot of turns, sometimes i wouldn't even cbet depending on the texture of flop

auto cbetting at 4NL would be a massive leak. Look at flop texture, decide what betting will acheive. Usually only do it with good equity or against known loose fit or fold players. I would think double and triple barrelling would be something you would do rarely with air at 4NL

I agree with most people above.

I don't think there's much point in c-betting any more than 1/2 pot and generally if you get called (by a donkey), you're unlikely to get rid of them and then have to fold or rely on hitting.

But as above, definitely don't c-bet 100% of the time as it doesn't always 'give you a lot of information' at 4NL and you'll be throwing more chips away than you win.
