VUL Alan while VWP to make the cash from the stack you started with and to keep pushing on to get that big stack

vul.. poker is a sick sick game with very fine margins..

1  = the difference between chip leader and out... sick

Ironic note. Alan's favourite hand is Ks-Qs. Or it was......

Toby just took a nice pot with 9-9, which housed up on the end on an A-A-x-x-x board.

Very unlucky Alan but very well played.  A great performance!

You did yourself and Sky Poker proud.

Young Delaney explains the hand beautifully. Incredibly, if Alan wins that hand, he becomes Chip Leader! Instead, it's the exit door, & £2,120. Which is nice, but he had his eyes on a much bigger number. GREAT grinding by him, though. Some River card that......

12 players remain as we enter what is at the very most, the days final Level, though play will cease as soon as they are down to 10.

    Blinds are 5,000 - 10,000 - 1,000, & the average stack is about 270,000.

Toby, our last man standing, has around 620,000.

Yes, Toby Lewis is just making a Guest appearance for Sky Poker this weekend, & will be doing some stuff with us, coming on the Show, maybe playing a Roller or two, a few interviews, da de da......that's the plan, anyway.

It's just a one off, that's the plan, anyway. And if he wins the Event, I get to keep my job, because I sort of took a bit of a gamble with setting up the deal, & if he bombed out early, I'd have had some serious explaining to do to Suit City.....

    Finallllllllllllllll!

That's it, we are down to 10, & play has ended for the day.

Toby has around 600,000 or so. Enough for now, anyway, that's about double average, or 20% of the chips in play.

Play resumes @ 2pm tomorrow, or roughly so, as there will be photo calls, interviews, announcements, & some razama & some tazz.

Can Toby get the job finished?

Tune in, same place, Sunday afternoon.

    Night all, I'm outa here.

There seems to be a definite pattern between players appearing on Sky Poker and then cashing deep.  Keep up the good work.

    Good afternoon Solly.

Unfortunately, that will not be possible - we do have standards here, you know.....;)

You could always win Membership of Team Sky Poker, though.......

I have been up all night researching the "history" & databases of all the finalists, & have asked Tighty to post it up on here.......

    So your finalists

    Toby Lewis

The 21 year old from Southampton, known online including on blonde as 810ofclubs almost needs no introduction after his successes in the last 2 years, most notably as EPT Champion in Vilamoura almost exactly a year ago. On the back of a stunning recent run online he will undoubtedly be favourite to add a GUKPT title to his burgeoning resume. Sponsored by Sky Poker for this event, though tikay has probably all told you that individually already.

    Andrew Feldman

Sometimes you can get someone wrong. You can form an opinion second hand from forums, and it is certainly true that Feldman has a mixed reputation after several years of playing the highest cash games online, a court case with a Rabbi of all things then the Full Tilt situation with he being one of their highest profile UK Pros.  However to meet him he is quiet, almost shy and certainly understated. Now 24 years old his previous best GUKPT finish was a 22nd in Blackpool as a 20 year old. His database lists a lot of TV format cashes, which could stand him in good stead once the final table gets shorter handed

    Dan Furnival

Furnival is in form having won the £500 NLHE side event this week, Furnival is becoming a regular of the fesitval scene. 15th in the CHampion of Champions last year, a recent finalist in the Palm Beach £1k event too. Was shortstacked on the final two tables last night and doubled twice to hit the final in good shape

    Bertie Keegan

A more undemonstrative table presence you could not find, on a player who sailed to the final table without big confrontations. Bertie has one previous GUKPT cash, 18th at Blackpool last year

    George Hassabis

Relatively inexperienced compared to many at this final, London based George has smashed his previous best live cash, a 3rd in an Empire festival in a £100 event. Short-stacked early yesterday, he ground it out to the luxuries of being able to fold Ace-King to heavy action just before the cash bubble.

    Antonio German

19 year old professional footballer for Queens Park Rangers, and previously on loan at Macclesfield, Yeovil and Southend. Currently injured, but still don't tell Neil Warnock he is here, just in case. Has a great game, very active, likes to see flops, likes to apply pressure and doesn't like to slow down much. Chip leader with 15 left he doubled Furnival up on the final table bubble. Certainly one to watch

    Michael Huber

German finalist, best database result is a 2nd place in a six Max event at WPT Marrakesh, plus a string of results in Germany and Switzerland

    Ergun Macit

Didn't know Ergun before this weekend, but he never stops smiling. This is obviously a good thing. Not sure about possible the vainest database profile pic in the world though. See below. Ergun won an EPT London side event last year, and has four top three GUKPT festival finishes in the last 2 years. A feature of Ergun's game is good natured speechplay and he stood toe to toe, out of position, to Feldman for over six levels yesterday. Not to be under-rated

    Jonathan Weekes

As one of the shortest stacks during the near two hour bubble, Jonathan survived over six all ins, two were called and he doubled up and then made the final without ever having a compfortable stack relative to the blinds from then on. Jonathan final tabled EPT Tallinn last year and was second in an EPT Copenhagen side event before that.

    Chaz Chattha

"Come on Chaz, you are overdue" said a TD yesterday to Chaz. Chaz replied "I haven't made the final of one of these for a while. I will do it" and so he did, as the short-stack. Hit squad member alongside amongst others brother Sunny, and a very popular player this is his third GUKPT final table. Starting with only 10x bb it is a big ask, but there wouldn't be a more popular winner.
