The Best centre back who never played for England...A PROPER CENTRE-HALF!!
I Met him & his family at a Fulham benifit nite for him, after he became very unwell & hit difficult times, ALL his old Fulham colleagues where there, bout 20!! Except Paul Parker who couldna get back from Hong Kong!
Only bout 75 fans, so had lots of time to talk to old players, including Dale Tempest, who now works & writes for Sky-Bet!!
I bought 2 x portrait photos of Roger, which he then signed, from a game i attended when i was 17, Lincoln 1-1, one of our Most famous games, Honest!!!
I spoke to him & family at length, thanking him for his time with us and wishing them well thru their difficult times.
I hope my small contribution helped!!
