He calls two decent bets and the board just gets worse and worse. Looks like he has you and makes a super valuey bet on the river. Doesn't ask you to call for your tourney but bets an amount you have to call.

There is a small chance he has a missed flush, but I think he would be more as a bluff. There is also a possibility he is making a blocker bet with a Jack, but I think he is way more likely to check and hope for a cheap showdown.

Think you saved 25,000 chips here..

I dont agree, I think you need to shut this pot down on turn.  Dont look to extract, look to secure whats in there.

Its the old addage with a big pocket pair, your either gonna win a small hand or lose a big hand. Agree with AmyBR, take it on the turn.

I would have thought he either had a nice starting hand like say maybe AJ or AQ or AK, and was the pre flop aggressor, after the flop he had to carry on betting maybe then hit the J on turn, carried on betting and on the river carried with the aggression betting, but thats my point of view, i would have called and maybe lost, he might even have had KK or AA so maybe did save yourself some chips

i'd bet bigger on turn - makes most river cards an easy shove
as played it's quite marginal imo, i'd probz fold readless ...
