IM ADDICTED TO STAYING AWAKE

the time now is 10.10am says big ben. Why on earth am i still awake after having no sleep all night and still playin poker and writing on this thread will someone please tell me to go to bed..............

whats the longest you have stayed awake playing poker?

    i know my eyeballs are bleeding got visitors coming over in an hour so cant go to sleep now :( hopefully get a power nap in later. Give me a wake up call when it starts :)

    i stayed up for a week once wasnt playing poker but Football manager instead. 72 hours playing poker my reccord wasnt very proditable in that time tbh.

    Although being an insommniac really means i dnt think i count.

    As above i dont sleep well anyway can never go to sleep before 12 and will always wake up after hour and struggle with sleeping, i sooo wish i could go to bed before 11 would be nice

    yea im a nightowl and can never get into that bed by 10 routine. Playin poker all day and night dosnt help just get all wired and hands go round in my head then i start thinking about all sorts of cra p! playing games consoles are just as bad same kinda effect. I should have a couple of whiskys for a night cap to help me sleep! trouble is when i have one i want another. Suppose most of us poker players have an addictive persanality of sorts. Ill prob fall asleep in the afternoon wake up this evening an vicous cycle starts all over again. Wish i could just play one game win big and go to bed :)

    i can never get to sleep before 4/5am I have been like this for maybe the last 4/5 months straight and then im awake again about 4 times before actually getting up at usually about 1ish, lngest ive played poker was when i first signed up to P.S played for around 62 hours straight before just Ko'ing while still logged in etc.

    Worse is i have actually had week and 2 weeks of poker to see if that affects my sleeping nada, i have since very young used to play computer consoles all night before school so think just the way i am dont think ill ever change. will always have eyebags im over it already ;)

    i have to second this. I played the PS2 and football manager at the same time till 7am got an hours kip then went to school lol. :)
