You are correct it is accumulative which is how I have calculated each level.

Anyway checked my calculations and I MAY BE WRONG but here is a spreadsheet of money in hand after each level showing a positive amount after level 3 even if you lose.

1) to Alan did you play all standard hu?? i'd imagine its easier this way as less variance, not taking away just i keep playing turbos and should probably be playing standard hu
