    It seems we have a discussion on our hands about what the odds are :-)) may i just throw in that the odds may be increased for someone having a chance by entering a 1st level satalite to get thru to win the main? as a regular satalite player i have to say making it through can be very tough and there are a few of the regular sataliter's that tend to make it through 2 or three times a week to the mains and then buy in the mini (just in case) - to get to that point the sataliter's tend to already be playing in good form rather than coming in a little cold - is there likely to be a beneficial effect to that? Opinions most welcome please. 1. made4game  2. elsadog      3. supersnedd 4. gerrard9 5. the don90 6. a random sataliter 7. jawzindawz 8. drumahai05 9. kennybad 10. no one.

    I think the longer it goes on the more ppl will buy into the mini, and think it will go about once a year

    There should be  comp to predict when it will go. I,d go for December

    That 300/1 odds assumes that all players in the main event are also in the mini event, which they aren't, so the odds must be much greater as the main event winner may not even be in the mini and vice versa! lets say 2/3 of the main event players are in the mini, what are the odds then? I would lay a wager that its not gone in 300 days assuming every 7 days = £100 that would be when the jackpot reaches £9300 so lets see!

    A very good idea - you would have to pick a date or a week though to narrow it down a little for a single prize - either that or get entry into a freeroll for picking the month maybe? anyone else fancy it?

    When Ryan won his Viva Las Vegas he was going through an amazing purple patch!
    Did that affect the type of tournaments/cash games he played?
    How difficult was it to adjust when he wasn't winning so much?
    or has he remained solid and not changed anything?
    My only purple patches come when I give blood lol

    It will happen.  Probably on a Wednesday night (or a Friday if the mini is changed to a rebuy like the main).  Almost no chance of it happening on a Monday.

    In my opinion Elsa is the most likely, closely followed by Ebberdon and Snedd.  But there are twenty names or so who have, in relative terms, a strong chance to complete the jackpot by the end of the year.
